Yea, but you can have 8 mines and if you plant them in a dark area or in shrubs, then it is almost impossible to see. Thats one of the reasons I hate "the ruins". And even if you do plant them in an open area, that means the seals have to go in another direction or waste a grenade and worry about getting shot to take out one grenade. That is definitely an unfair advantage for the terrorists, I would love to have PMN's for the Seals.

And RPG's also have some advantages, like when someone runs around the corner, a RPG is there in less than a second and you don't have time to react. But a M203 has a high arc that gives you extra time to react. And an RPG is a lot more powerful than a M203.

I just think that if you are gonna ban the M203, then you should also do the same for RPG's, PMN's, and M3's. Otherwise all is fair in love and war

the reason i think the mine is a huge disadvantage to seals in demolition is because...

if terrorists plant a bomb... and then plant mines... its pretty much certain that seals wont have time to diffuse the bomb.

203 isn't as effective as one might think. Many times have I launched a 203 with a direct hit on someone and all that happened was that they were knocked down, sometimes it's an instant kill, but most times it just knocks down. Also you have to fire the 203 at a certain distance otherwise it won't explode.

Same shit as the damn automatic shotgun, effective close up but sucks long range, so just stay away

But I mean damn, with pmn mines, you have to constantly look down to see if there are any, with the 203 just look up I think it's all fair.

 

If you actually aim at someone and hit them with a 203 I don't have as much of a problem with that as I do when people randomly fire into the air and it kills people.

Especially on smaller maps like The Ruins. If you got the angle right, you can take out terrorists from the spawn point. That is ridiculous.
