we really should move our activities to the CLAN GAME rooms and out of the US Easts.

even when you have open games in those rooms they seem to have a higher quality of play then the East's

I was all confused but found the section. I notice that I spend a helluva lot more time in ramblings than the car talk. I never used to go into ramblings!

 

We should maybe start going against other clans as well. We should play more often and find out who is best at what. For example, who's a good sniper vs heavy gunner.

 

Heavy gunner = Smitty
Sniper = Steve, me or Soopa
Grenader = me or soopa(in training)
Mines = Smitty
Rocket Launcher = Smitty or soopa
Camper = Steve or Smitty - lol

Sniper - eh... i usually snipe in EVERY game i play. but not so good in this one... definately better than some tho.

Grenader - hey im trying! you still frag me first 90% of the time tho. lol

Mines - yea i suck at everything as a terrorist. especially mines...

RPG - yep.

Camper - or Ted or Silver. especially Ted.... king camper. lol. Both of those two have too much patience.

 

weird shit is i snipe better with assault rifles then i do with sniper rifle.

i hate how its a `stepped zoom` the only game with stepped zoom ive ever liked sniping in is HALO. i dont think i can be outsniped in that game. lol

but SOCOM needs progressive zoom severely. way too limited field of view for how small most of the maps are... and thermal just makes it worse.

Thermal is nice but it limits your distance in sniping... If I snipe with a assualt rifle I usually put it on single shit to eliminate recoil and be more accurate..

yea me too it all depends on the situation tho..

if you put it on single you gotta kill them with one... 2 shots at most. tough on certain boards... like enowapi as seal.


if you put it on auto... once you line up your shot on the scope... aim low and then just fire way. theyll die.


same deal with scope-less guns... M14 for instance... when you have the binoculars out... put the person right in the middle of your binoculars... it will line up just like dot on scope.

 

Good tip... Completly forget to aim low and let it ride..

I'd have to say that from what I can tell, my strengths are in camping and mines. What do you mean by heavy gunning? I'm also starting to try out sniping, so we'll see how that works out.

On another note, last night against alot of HSS members I just beat out steve for mvp (sucka! ) 18-5, but my rank still went down?? I don't get it...

Same shit happened to me. I played in a full room with only 1-2 Lt's (everyone else was cookie or above) and got MVP.

Before the game I had checked and my rank was about 100K, after the game I was 140K.

The ranking system makes NO sense, but whatever. This month I have been ranked as high as 50K and as low as 310K...

Regardless it is still a very fun game.

 

Yeah, it is a fun game to play, so now it's time for me to try out some new things and lose more ranking
