So... I started cracking out on Viva Pinata.

I havent played any video games since Halo 2's release and sold my Xbox not long after. In the last few months my wife and I decided to get a 360 and check out some of the games for it. We started out with Lego Star Wars II and loved it... mainly for the fact that we could play together.

Last week a friend of mine suggested that I buy Viva Pinata, that my wife would love it (she is 29 btw). I looked into the game and it looked incredibly childish... After visiting Gamestop Saturday, we didnt see anything we were interested in so we decided to give it a try for $30. After about 3 hours of playing it and getting a feel for it, the game ended up being very addictive. When we werent playing it, we were thinking about what we should do next on the game. I have to say for a game rated E, it truly is fun to play. I think we are both blown away by all the possibilities and scenarios of the game. Anyone else play this game yet?

I keep on hearing from people how great this game is. For some reason, I'm just simply not into simulation games. I've tried Sims and Animal Crossing on Gamecube. Granted, I didn't really give it a whole lot of time, but I am simply turned off by games without any stories nor levels. With that said, my GF LOVE Simulation games. I should be getting this one later on once I finish the games I'm playing currently.

If anyone here who's a fan of the Simulation genre, VP is a great game. It had great reviews and a cult following among hardcore gamers Good pick up

I've seen it being played, not too exciting to watch

Wonder if your acreage gets bigger, garden looks way too small to me

I was watching my roomate play it. I would have rather taken a bullet to the knee than sit there and watch. maybe if I had played it would have been better. All I really remember about the game is critter sex.

The garden does get bigger, its already expanded a few times for me. I can see how watching it would not be fun, but its a video game- not a movie. You need to play it

I played the demo and enjoyed it, there's so much you can do and sometimes it can be hard to keep track of everything going on. I think I'll pick it up in a little while once I get situated in my new place. And yes, the critter sex is weird.
