Hi guys,

They re-released King Quest (1-7), Police Quest (1-4), Space Quest (1-6), and Leisure Suit Larry (1-5) for Windows XP. They are $20 buck a piece.

I've only played most of the KQ series but not the other 3.

Should I buy them all for a total of $80?

Sierra used to make the best adventure games, the favorite are the ones by Roberta William, well, all the King's Quest games were by her, and who can ever forget the awesome Phantasmagoria!!!


And the Gabriel Knight series!!

 

If I had to pick one, I would pick Space Quest.
So funny.

 

BTW, they used to get $50 a pop for those games.
I used to work in Electronics Boutique, people would go absolutely ape shit for the Kings Quest games. When the first VGA version of those games came out you thought that Chirst had returned.

 

does anybody have the new releases? How good or bad are they?

 

Doesn't sound like they're new... just sounds like they re-released them. Or did they update the graphics?

 

I got my first computer for the sole purpose of playing KQ4. Along with all the other Sierra games. Great stuff.

 

It is the same old blocky graphic but they are supposed to run "well" under XP.

 

I played KQ, PQ and SQ... Space Quest was my favorite

 

Space Quest FTW, but Leisure Suit Larry was fun also.. I would def. get those if I wasn't short on some cash right now

King's Quest I was the first game I ever played on a computer.

According to the Amazon review. The 4 games are run under DOS Box included in the CDs. So, the games are not re-make. They are the original DOS games.

I have DOS Box. It requires alot of CPU to run the DOS games.

I will wait for more reviews before I fork up the cash.
