PS3: Uncharted 2
Anyone play the demo for this PS3 exclusive yet? IMO it has the best graphics for any game yet on either console. It's amazing! I never thought much of this game as a multi-player but boy was I wrong it's a blast to play.
A friend of mine at work got it with inFamous and loved it. He's already preordered it and is getting it day one. I've only seen screen shots, but they do look amazing...can't wait to see it on my TV (Uncharted looked great on it). However, due to other game commitments right now, I'll be picking this one up in the spring.
i played demo for 3 days.. and i just felt like i really really suck at FPS on console... i can't aim shiet.... why can't PS3 let us use mouse and keyboard???????
i'm kinda hesitant about getting this one now

will definitely be getting. just need to finish the first one.
despite all the praise the first one got, it seems like it's still very much slept on.
is multi-player online or offline? both?

I know MP for UC2 is online, don't know about offline. It has a lot of modes; five, if I remember correctly. Seemed like it would be good once you got the hang of the controls.
^that's what i'd like to know as well.
man, i really need to finish some other games before i get this one.
i have like 2.5 weeks of vacation left this year. since i'm not planning on going anywhere, i might just end up staying home and playing video games.

no pay time off FTL
what is offline multiplayer?
I played the campaign for a couple hours so far and it's a blast. They're creative enough with the story/levels to keep the gameplay fresh.
Sweet game.. I'd personally rent it because I'm not a huge fan of the multiplayer, but it depends on your tastes.
i like it so far... graphics fantastic, story line is also quite interesting.. puzzles in the game is another fun factor
haven't played multiplayer yet though.. wanna finish the single player first

How's the gameplay...? What I mean is, is the movement similar to MGS/Devil May Cry/Ninja Gaiden...?
For instance, I recently finished Prince of Persia and although it's not a bad game, I didn't really like the gameplay that much. The movement was a bit too, limited and "slow" (not sure how else to describe it). I mean, obviously, the game is not a true action game where you're out to destroy everything in your path...

no ducking or lay flat on the ground.. only time you can duck is when you are hiding behind something that's kinda short... and even then, it's not a duck... you are hiding... once you get away from the object, you aren't ducking anymore
also sometimes, you can't fully rotate the view around you... it seems like the game is hinting you which path you should go, but it bothered me time to time
i'm playing on hard mode (i think that's the second hardest mode) and it still seems not so hard... i'm already on like chapter 15 or so (out of 26 supposedly).. so if any of you get this game, just start with hardest mode

This game has one of the best story modes ever. It's like watching and playing a movie at the same time and it kept me on the edge of my seat fro the whole game. The level when you wake up in the mountains is absolutely beautiful. I stopped playing and just looked at the graphics in awe the best graphics on either console hands down. If you own a PS3 and don't have this game you're doing yourself a dis-service. Game of the year IMO.

one thing is that if the game thinks you are lost (ie spending too much time figuring out where to go), they give you hints and stuff.. i thought it was pretty good because it doesn't give you hint too early so that it doesn't spoil anything and gives you time to figure out on your own, yet not too late to a point you get annoyed and come to the point of giving up
oh and there is no health gauge.. when you are about to die (say you get shot at hard) the screen becomes unsaturated and eventually to a greyscale... but if you avoid any attack for like 10 seconds, you are normal at full health seems like..
i say 50% of the time, you are figuring out where to go and do some puzzles, and the other 50% is shooting and fighting
ask me if you have any specific questions, i can't really think of what to talk about from work
