PS3: Uncharted 2
Yep!
We both get home around 5ish these days. Supper takes about 30-40 minutes to prep and we're done usually by 6:30. If we have no errands to run or are not going for bikerides (definitely not now with the weather colder), we have pretty much all evening for whatever.
She may watch the odd show or two but otherwise, she's happy curling up next to me reading or on her laptop while I'm "saving the world" for an hour or two.
So, yeah...I do seem to have more time when we're not busy with in-laws, friends, and etc. But, those happen usually on weekends.

i'm about halfway through. i'm an old school tomb raider vet and this game is what tomb raider should've evolved into instead of just becoming a frustrating game. the gameplay is not new but it's exemely well done and is really fun to play, an aspect that is missing from many games. like someone else said, there are so many cutscenes it is like playing a movie and the cutscenes are a really nice break from the gameplay action.
the game is really linear and the gameplay mechanics are pretty forgiving which makes it surprising that the game isn't too easy. i'm playing this series for the first time on "normal" mode so the fights are kind of hard sometimes, at least. i imagine the game would be too easy on "easy" mode.
i'm mostly a pc gamer so console graphics don't really impress me but the graphics in this game are great. i ran throught the unchartered 1 demo and playing 1 and 2 back to back makes the graphics in 1 look dull, although it's still decent.
i haven't played the multiplayer and coop very much but they are really nice extras and make the game worth owning and replaying. i still haven't figured out why there are so few online players because the online play is on par with fps games...maybe the people that bought this game are the single player crowd.
this game is one of the reasons that anyone should own a ps3. well, that and the fact that it plays BD. i'm sure some guys i know will run through it in 7 hours and never play it again but i usually play fewer games for longer period of time and the replayability of this game is high, both in single player and online which is pretty rare for an adventure type of game like this.

haven't played much.. and yesterday, i found out i'm on level 26
if i remember correctly, this is the last level
i won't spoil anything out, but i don't know how to beat this level... (i only spent 15 minutes and then I quit and went to bed though)
maybe tonight or tomorrow night i will be done with the game
to be honest though.. if 26 is really the last level, this game is rather short imo
i think i spent longer time trying to beat MGS..

^ i've read some shady people take advantage of that deal... like you pay for two, and return one, then return another one.. basically you get one game for free
i'm not sure if Uncharted let you play with your friends online, but in any case, what's your PSN?

so many people sandwiched a $60 game with cheap ones (like rock revolution $4.99) and got the $60 game for free.
then they returned the two cheap, paid-for games with a gift receipt and did the cycle over and over again.
some guys on slickdeals ended up with 10+ games.

hey jedi and yummy, me and yohan are going to get some multiplayer going if anyone wants to join in. pm us your email or we're going to try and use msn chat to hook up online
is there a way to play the 10-man deathmatch with specific friends in the game? i'm playing a ton of deathmatch right now but i suck lol. it doesn't help that the player matching system is totally broken. there will be like 3 level 40's, 3 level 30's, and 4 dudes under level 15 in one game.

like i said before in this thread i'm pretty new to console gaming. u2 is actually ruining other games i bought on the ps3 because they all pale in comparison. i've played batman, gtaIV, ghostbusters etc. from gamefly a few times but they all seem to be lacking in some way. i did stop and play u1 and that was great but the multiplayer on u2 is awesome, as is the single player campaign.
Outstanding game. Finished in <2 wks which is like a record for me since I'm typically weekend gamer. GF has been busy with work so I've had some time. Best game I've played since Arkham.
Multiplayer only works online right?

^Yeah, MP is online.
Well, I'm working through this game for the 4th time. I've earned almost every medal/trophy. With only a few left, I figure I might as well get them. However, I'm not too sure about high replay as I'm forcing myself through it this time. I have to say, though, it is more fun on Hard (looking forward to Crushing). And it's definitely a little more interesting this time around since I'm playing in one of the Chloe skins...much better to look at than Drake, and when the real Chloe is there, it's like there are twins!

I see. Yea I finished it on easy. I thought it might have been fun to play with GF if she could be Chloe but I don't do PS3 online.
Anyhoo I just picked up Bioshock2. I cleared the first stage, it's pretty creepy underwater and the little girl is
I miss the 3rd person angle of Among Thieves, 1st person makes me dizzy and the controls are way less intuitive than Thieves but BS2 got pretty good reviews so hopefully it delivers.

^I miss the old, true, two-player games. And I hear you on the FPSs...I don't get dizzy; I just don't like them. As such, I don't buy them. Good luck with BS2. Bayonetta's next up for me.
OMG Bayonetta looks so sick.
In the future I'm thinking Army of 2 40 days might be fun for me and GF. She's into Resident Evil type games, unfortunately not to many traditional 2 players with the survival horror genre.

After beating and returning my used copy of Bioshock2 on Xbox...I did an even exchange for a used copy of this game, which I just beat this afternoon. So, I'll be returning it for full value...thats like 2 games for free
Anyway, very fun game, cinematic and thought out. Great voice casting/acting.
I can officially say after the GoW collection and this game...the PS3 controller and control setup is inferior to the xbox. It just plain blows. It doesnt mean I wont play it anymore...already have GoW 3 on reserve...but I'll limit PS3 games to exclusive titles I cant get on Xbox.
