I've been on the fence about this. The demo is alot of fun. My only problem is that for 60 a game...i'm not sure i want to invest in it. COD 4 comes out in about 2 weeks , Assassins Creed as well, so thats already 120 + tax.

 

dunno, never played any ratchet and clank games.

 

same, but the demo is really cool, and the graphics are great. I have NBA Live 08 unopened, I might try to go trade it for ratchet and clank at walmart, or anywhere else I might be able to do it without a receipt(I bought it for 50% off when toys r us was having their madden sale)

 

the old R&C games were a lot of fun! Ill prob pick this up at some point.

 

it reminds me of a much better version of crash bandicoot. (sp)

 

Picked it up today for my nephew (he's obsessed with R&C and online play) just saw him play it a bit but will check it out and let ya know...looks pretty cool at first take.

So i was watching my nephew play this for a bit today. As slayer mentioned, the graphics are awesome. Definitely top notch and mucho detail. Gameplay is probably a bit better than the past games, very fluid. The story mode, from what my nephew said, is really long so you should be in for a bit if you decide to get it.

No online play, which all the other games had, but i wonder if they're working on something for the future and can be added through an update?

All in all, looks like a fun game to play!

 

I'm still on the fence about this.... i'm really tempted...but dont know if it's worth the 60 bucks.

 

I mean it's a cool game to play - i dunno if i'd get it myself (have played the older ones before). Mainly cause i'd rather have a game that's not as geared towards the younger generation, but that's just me.

 

I kinda agree with sonny, but the game is realy fun...they have quite a few intersting weapons that make it very intense....although I have only played the demo...been spending most of my time trying to beat the last guy in heavenly sword...

 

Bought the game. It was $70 except the Sony Store had it for $57.99 which I forced Best Buy to price match and well, they also had the difference beat by 10%.

i got it yesterday. Im about 7-8 lvls into the game.. I think the graphics and game play rock..

 

Been playing this over the last couple of days...it is fun fun fun.

The visuals and effects are seriously jaw-dropping and it's been so far really good for a laugh too with the convos and dialogue. And of course, the gameplay...easily some top notch stuff that rivals the controls of Ninja Gaiden Sigma.

I'd say this game may be easily overlooked given the "cutesy" nature of the game...but, wow, you guys would be depriving yourself of a gem if you didn't at least give R&C a try. Highly recommended folks!
