PS2 and Xbox Modchips Suggestions

Does anyone have any suggestions on what modchip I should get for both my Xbox and PS2. I just need a modchip to play burned games on both my systems and backed up games from PS1 and PS2. If you have any suggestions please leave one for each Xbox and PS2, Thanks.....

for xbox, i would highly recommend the link below. no point in installing a mod chip when it's unnecessary. http://www.sbeyer.netfirms.com/gouki/part1.html

get the one form www.easybuy2000.com. It is called the xchip. My friend who put mine in said it was very easy to use since there is no soldering.

With the Xbox, you can upgrade your HD and just burn it onto the HD. With this method, all you do is rent games and burn them, no need to buy burned games. You can do the same with PS2, all you need is an online adaptor, 120 gig HD, and a HD Loader disc.

for your ps2 all you need is a flip top cover and boot discs and you can start playing your burned games. http://www.baysoftgames.com/ps2flipcov.html

I have the easybuy2000 xchip as well and it works great. That link above for a chipless mod was great but you'd be stuck with only 8gig of storage....definitely need to switch out the HD so you can save more than 3 games on it.

The limit for hard drives on the xbox isn't 137 gigs?
I'm going to be ordering this one very soon: http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/Produc...uctCode=101205
I saw it was recommended on 2 different xbox sites & the price is right.

I know your post is old now, but the best modchip for the PS2 is the DMS4. They have a solderless chip now at:

And the post is even older now but I just purchased mine for the PS2 from www.modchip.com

But i went with the Slide Card & Disk Swap: http://www.modchip.com/ps2/slidecard.htm

my buddy has the flip top one and that works perfect this one just has a card that plugs in. I havent gotten it yet but you should take a look at the website they have multiple mod chips for every system
