problems with XBL and home network.

Recently with my new Elite, I have been noticing that occasionally my XBOX will fail to recognize my home network even if it was able to connect earlier in the day. For example I would play a game for a couple of hours on XBL and turn it off. Later on if I turn it back on, sometimes the XBOX says it can't connect to XBL and I discover my XBOX is unable to find my network.

The only way I discovered that I can get it back up again is if I switch my network type from from WPA to WEP and then right back to WPA. After doing this the XBOX is again able to find and connect to my network.

Anyone else having this issue? Could it be my router or my XBOX? I'm using the Microsoft USB wireless internet adapter for the XBOX BTW

Does your wireless router go into standby or something?

I've got wired so...

I don't think so. It may be set to "connect On demand", but I'm not sure.

I have the same problem but if I run the network test it comes up just fine. Gets pretty annoying because it happens at random

Is there someone using a laptop or computer on the same router? I noticed when my laptop is running and I put my Xbox on, either my signal is weak or I cannot connect at all. I need a faster router.
