is it possible to plug my playstation 2 into my computer moniter? Anyone done it? How is it done? Am I stupid for asking... ?

 

I'm assuming your monitor doesn't have S-video or Composite video inputs.

You need a composite video to D-Sub converter (or S-video to D-Sub - whatever the output signal is on your PS2). You can do it - but it won't look as good as it does on your TV - at least, this is my experience with such units.

well I guess it depends... but most likely not - what kind of TV setup do you have? what PS2 video out are you using? what computer monitor do you have?

I am having the same problem. I do have S-video on my ATI Radeon 9600 PRO. I have connected everything already, but now I don't know how to switch out of the desktop so i can play games on the computer. thanks for your input.
