I have been playing Condition Zero for a couple months now, and am def hooked. I have a problem tho. At one of my work places I dont have high speed internet, nor are there any wireless netoworks that I have access to. My stupid cellphone wont work with the data kit either. Right now I'm using AOL (free for 6 mos) and the lag is horrible on any large map, or in any small map with more than 3 ppl. Earthlink nor Netzero were any better, and I'm not going to pay $20/mo to use dialup for 8 days/month.

Is there any options in CS that I can change that will help with my latency, without adversly affecting video or audio quality?

Also when the hell is EVDO coming to Detroit, I need a broadband wireless connection dammit.

I wonder if anyone has tried playing it on Evdo? (Verizons wireless broadband).

I'm gonna take my cable modem there and plug it into the wall and pray that there is service for internet (its a shared line for the upstairs office).
