PC GURUS!! suggestions?
PC gurus, need your suggestions here. Both my old and new PCs are XP pro. I'm too old to learn new stuff. Vista is just too much for me. That's why I got a new PC with XP.
What software would you suggest for the migration? There are numerous choices out there. I understand all files and setting transfers can simply be done by DVD copies.... but I'm old and lazy. I want something that can transfer everything by a cable and simple clicks.
Suggestions? Thanks.

Or you can setup a home network and just drag and drop your stuff...
But since you are looking for the easiest way, Windows has a built in transfer utility and the USB cable that Jonesi has kindly provided is what you need.
Are you transferring just files? or specific settings?

Go Giants
The easy transfer works well, if you have an external HD, you don't need the cable. Just make sure that both PC's are on the same XP service pack level.
