My nominees: ghost_masterCL, Silver, and Moog-Type-S...

They are big-time PS3 lusters.

That's cuz you lack true ambition. Chest-hair. Gonads.

A real man would go after that earth-destroying, kitten-eating, ozone-sucking Hellmachine from Sony.

Im sure some think your spending habits on paintings and guns is nuts too.

I refuse to buy a game console over $150, if that.

As P.T. Barnum said "There is a sucker born every minute" (although Wikipedia says he didn't say it)
And now with todays birthrate it is probably more like every second.

Yes, but one big difference........I can actually get my $ back on most of what I purchase (and in many cases more).

But I should say that PS3 is so expensive at retail to begin with, that if you sold the system used (even after Christmas) you would get a portion of your $ back.

My buddy has 360, its cool....but doesn't PS3 have better hardware?

Ooooof...please observe the many pages dedicated to the R&P topic known as the "Sony PS3".

In all seriousness, "better" is arguable. But, again, the thread explores that. I think the machine is impressive...but, it's also a giant gambit by Sony. Their survival may likely depend on this console.

...actually, it has Blue Ray, which would be the only reason for me to buy one... (a stand alone player is $1000), but then again... there aren't even much on Blue Ray DVD at the moment...

and BTW... the 360 is gonna get the HD DVD...

I would assume it's Blue Ray, being that it's not made by Toshiba.

I don't think I would even pay MSRP for it. What is it, $500? Spending money to waste time in the dark, inside, on the couch, getting fat doesn't seem too smart to me.

Im tickled pink by the notion that asshats are willing to pay upwards of a grand for a system when they can instead dump that cash into a 360 and a bunch of cool games instead.

hell its what Im doing this christmas

(funny thing is, my sis wants to get a ps3... I told her I'd get the 360 and she said she'd get the 3 Im getting away with murder here lol)

...it's like I said in the PS3 thread... the only games at launch that I'm interested are going to be out on 360 as well... (then there's the highly anticipated game-"Gears of War" that's NOT even going to be on PS3)... so what's the point? I'm sure there be some games out later that will only be on PS3 that might interest me... but for now? I don't need to go out of my way and spend the $$$ for this console.

Well, exactly...with banjo practice and all, I don't think you'd have much time to play the PS2 either.

Well even if I had a banjo, it would still be greater than your cute 'lil piano
