TVR's Speed Six's are nice no doubt but it's a looong way down on my choices of cars.

Hey I was thinking, what about time trial Drag races? Either we go exact car and see who can get the best time or pick a stock car, mod it to the teeth, and see who can build the best one.

I had another 21 laps today, and guess what?

No improvement at all.

I will have another try on Saturday.

Having TCS on didn't help. I had TCS off and ran about 34 laps, and finally got that time.

I don't know. I have the replay, but I don't know how to upload it to the computer.

A driving tip for the last turn, the long sweeper. Taking the tight line seems to slower and would only yield the speed crossing the line at around 92-94mph. What I did was I took the sweeper as a double apex turn. At the entry, turn early into the inside curb. Brake really late (way later than the flashing "4"), and downshifted to 3rd. The car would go toward the outside of the turn, then full throttle and tried to pull the car back to the right, and apex the 2nd time. This way, I was able to cross the line at 100-101mph, and it was much quicker.

I was thinking of that idea but couldn't pull it off. A double apex is definitely faster given that it's a shorter distance vs. an arc.

crossed finish line at 102 - need to iron out the rest of the turns.

final turn is totally a double-apex - good call.

ok... I know what you mean now - you're right. You have to drive it weird. However, to get faster I had to take a different approach than what you have said:

For the tight turns, I had to go in hot, then totally jam on the brakes and hold until the car is right about at the apex, let off the brakes and the car switches direction, apply full throttle and then torque-steer through the rest of the turn. It's a very jarring method and is not smooth at all - it's anti-smooth. If you drive the car smooth, it's just not as fast. So, this challenge has shown me that I don't like the characteristics of the T350C. The good thing is its still a fast car, so its not like, boring to drive - but the fact that you have to change your driving style into this rip-and-jerk thing kinda sux.
