ok guys... I had to make an adjustment to my above time. Since it was in GT mode I forgot a couple of things - namely, TCS and ASM. TCS was on 7 and ASM was at 10,10.

So I had to change those down to 0 and that changed the grip of the car tremendously - the car understeered like hell. So I had to go in and do some suspension adjustments, and finally after several laps with the new setup I got it down to 1'38.859 no ayc, no naws. But, I'm still racing.

ok I went back in to settings and changed to Setting B, which reset everything. I chose all the mods again (no naws or ayc), and left the suspension stock. Set TCS and ASM all to 0. Set Transmission to 15. Set Front and Rear downforce to max. Those are the only things I changed, and for some reason the car is faster now... it has 573hp - it had 578hp before...

well the car seems faster but it is harder to control...

best time is 1'38.739 no ayc no naws

there is still more room but I think what feels like close to 30 laps is enough for one day

I will try the full customize one on default next time.

I said full mods fool - full mods means everything including suspension - then when I said I reset it to stock I meant I reset the full race suspension to stock settings. I only told you now because I only realized now that you thought I meant something else.

don't worry, you still have 5 days.

I've put in about 35 laps total so far. I think I'm gonna get a video capture device tonight so I can upload a video of the run I've been putting off getting one for a while now.

and oh yeah, the rules say "any mods allowed" - so you should have known to use the full customizable suspension... is it my fault you didn't?

btw before y'all complain - yes I am aware that the Yellow Bird is not the easiest car to drive. It will take some calculated driving to get the most out of it.

so I was really curious how this car would do... I had to take it out tonight itself.. the first lap was discouraging but after I got accustomed to this car's weird feel it wasn't too bad... racing with all aids off. First lap was a 1'32, now I'm running 1'26s after about 6 laps... this car loves to drift!!

Are you sure you're using Racing Medium (R3) tires??? My times, so far, have been under 1'20s.
