DAAAAAAMN this game rocks! The graphics are the best. I love the way the game plays. Yes the gravity gun rules, doesn't it? The cross-bow with the zoom-scope is also killer. (made famous from HL-1) I liked the dune buggy with NO2 on the beaches, that was very cool. The sound effects are very real as well. I'm on the big bridge now, getting blurry-eyed so saved and I bailed.

same old same old CS??? With better looking aesthetics but roughly same maps, whoopdee doo?
Comment on HL2 so far: Very action oriented, pacing of the story seems inconsistent, very slow at first, then abruptly fast with the "water obstacles."
The one thing that seemed too predictable is how Half life starts you off with a suit, crowbar, pistol, submachine gun, handgun, . Does it HAVE to be in that order like the orginal game too? Do it differently, surprise people why doncha?
Really nice touch with the physics engine and problem solving games, gets you in a problem solving mode all the time--which is very cool for a first person shooter!! Just don't over do them too much. For example, the mini speed boat is becoming tiring with too many damn ramp jumps, after the 5th time, its no longer any fun...let's hope I don't see any loop- da-loop ones, :boinkugh:. I mean this ain't no Miami Vice hot dogging game, lets cut the crap and get back to the story.
{HL2 puts Doom3 to total undeniable outright shame btw, and thats an understatement, its really an immersive experience: VAST highly detailed landscapes to play with indoors and outdoors especially, plot, action, problem solving obstacles, etc.}
