PS3 all the way. I've been comtemplating getting a 360 for a few weeks now, but cant see buying one. There just isnt not even one game that I feel I need to play to get it.

PS3 will be the hottest item when it hits and nobody can deny it. Its gonna sell out opening day and for probably 2-3 weeks after. Anyone who thinks the price is too much can think what they want, but kids are going to be lining up to get this with their summer pay money. Yeah, so parents won't most likely get their 8 year old a PS3 as opposed to the Wii, but thats expected. Nintendo has always been geared to the younger crowd.

Since when is a game a "kids game" when it doesn't have blood or cursing in it?

 

Wii looks pretty good the contoller is what is going to get people to buy and a new zelda that doesnt look kiddy.

 

Typical Nintendo fanboy thing to say I guess also. Sorry, I dont take "console wars" as serious as other people. I like the games on PS, so i'll buy a PS, plain and simple. I think Nintendo makes great games, but most of them are on the lighter side. I never said they were kiddy games, just not anything that I like to play. Don't take it personal. I still think Mario is 'hip' and 'edgy'.

 

Xbox 360 is going to get interesting when M$ releases their wireless portable media player by Christmas. Supposedly it fully integrates w/ the 360.

 

I can only hope that it is better than the 360 and Media Center integration. I have lost faith in M$'s ability to pull off all of these peripheral features, at this point I have yet to even see a few good games for the "gaming system."

I am just bitter that sony did not deliever up to my expectations with the psp and M$ with the 360.

 

The PSP has been building momentum lately. The list of games coming out are looking pretty damn good. There are plenty of good games available now also. It did have a slow start, but I think we will start seeing great games by the end of this year alone.

You are correct and my anger towards the psp has declined as worthy games have surfaced. Maybe I am expecting too much from brand new systems

 

^^ All systems tend to get better after the first couple of years.

 

I'm still playing my regular XBOX. I haven't gotten a 360 yet, because there just aren't any games I want to play on it right now. I may eventually get one when Halo 3 comes out and hopefully their be more games on it by then as well. I've almost got one on a whim a few times, but its really not worth it right now when I'll probably end up playing the regular XBOX more anyway.

I don't have a PS2 and I don't think I would ever be getting a PS3. Not an Xbox fanboy, playstation just never really did it for me. Plus with Sony wanting to charge $600 for their system, that pretty much sealed the deal that I won't be getting a PS3. Not that I can't afford it, I just that I think that's too much to pay.

I have a GameCube as well, but don't even play it anymore after I beat Metroid Prime 2. Looking foward to getting the new Zelda for it. I may check out the Wii as well, because that is the only way I'll still be able to continue to play Metroid and Zelda games.

I'm a PS fanboy, so only one choice for me

 

I took it last week. Hardly even played the damn thing. However Perfect Dark Zero is on sale at frys for 20 bucks so I may go pick it up just to have it and beat it.

Just whatever you do, do not waste your time with "the calling".. That game is horrible.

 

I have a 360 on the way, and will also be buying a PS3 down the road. 1080p + BluRay all the way.

This way the PS3 will be on the 61" 1080p TV going downstairs, and the 360 will be in the bonus room on the 50" Sammy DLP...
