Which next-gen console will YOU buy?
Which next-gen console will YOU buy?
Nothing set in stone, but I am interested to see what the gamers on the forum will be purchasing as their next systems (or have already purchased in the case of the 360)

I plan on holding out from the ps3 util gt5 comes out. It is the only game I am interested in and by the time the game is out hte price of the system will fall to something affordable
I'm amazed with how many people are going to get the PS3.
Are you really gonna spend $600 for a few specific games? I don't care how much shit they have packed into that box, I just want to play games.

you have to agree that's a rediculous price.

PS2: 24827
XB360: 2852
One point I am keeping in mind through this whole anticipation period is that Sony and Microsoft have pretty much left the market that they were in. In terms of sales numbers, little kids have very little voice but huge market share, especially with Nintendo. If you are a parent and have an 8yo and a 10yo, which console looks like a better xmas present?

... If the Wii sells like that the japanese developers will be ALL OVER it.I honestly think it will sell like the DS. It's cheaper, and it focus's on playing games, not on being an all-in-one multimedia center. the main factor in high sales being the price point. I can almost guarantee the Wii will sell out this holiday season, no matter how many units are produced.

-It's cheap(less than $250), and considering nintendo's track record with quality, it will be worth it.
-It has the virtual console, so it'll have old school games (NES, SNES, N64, turbogfx, and backwards compatible with gamecube) available for download and new games for cheap that can be downloaded.
-cool control style, might be more fun that the usual dual analog setup for certain things.
-nintendo first party games.

you got me...
