Time to play more than GOW. What are some good games out there?

 

Well... Halo 3 is coming out this Tuesday and that is probably going to be good.
For shooting games I liked Hitman, Call of Duty 2 and 3, and Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 1 and 2.
I also liked Project Gotham Racing 3 (a fourth one is coming out later this year).
Saints Row has provided many hours of nonlinear, GTA-style fun.
I'm sure other members can provide more wide ranging suggestions.

Madden '08
Test Drive Unlimited
Forza 2

Those keep me busy, although Madden is really the only game I play now...

 

Forza 2 is great. I still love Battlefield 2, and you can pick it up for 30 bucks new.

Fight Night 2 is a lot of fun for playing with friends.

 

i hear bioshock is the game to play and i think lost planet is pretty fun

 

Rainbow 6 Vegas

 

Skate, its a fun game with all kinds of replay value.

edit: oh and Halo 3 when it comes out, but Bioshock is a friggin amazing game, very revolutionary for a FPS... one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had

 

Bioshock is amazing! It is very addictive. It is visually the most impressive game I have ever played. If you have an HDTV you need it. Also surround sound helps because you can hear what direction your enemies are coming from.

but it freezes up the console so you have to save often. Also the level I just got to freezes every 60 seconds for about 5-10 seconds at a time. really bad. But with that said I didn't have much trouble with the 1st half of the game for some reason. I hope they come up with a fix for this soon because this game is truly awesome.

really 2 of my coworkers have it and havent had any glitches at leat they didnt when i talked to them about it i always ask how clitchy a game is or maybe they wernt that far into yet
