Add a hub to this and you should be able to connect more than one device to the adapter as well although I won't know until I try it. For now only my elite will be connected directly to it.
I had the same setup for my xbox but sold my old wireless bridge and hub with the system earlier this year because I wanted to get an updated wireless bridge using the G network for faster speed.
Its in infrastructure mode and I think I set it up correctly with the SSID of my network and the password for it. Im using WPA security dunno if that matters. I also switched to channel 5 cause its said too in live. I know Im getting a signal from my network it just wont connect. during setup I have to add my ssid and password correct? and then scan it from the media thing and then add my password again? Im usinga dlink gaming router if that matters. I really dont want to go back to using the xbox thing.

^^^ WPA does not work with this adapter as far as I know. Only WEP does.
I think it was mantis that asked me if WPA security worked with this as well in another thread which I can't find...
still searching....

Found the thread...

You even posted in that thread on that page after I stated WPA doesn't work.

Ah damn it I thought you ment in your old router.
Any reason why wpa doesnt work? It does show the options for it. tkip is wpa and aes is for wpa2.

I have my router currently setup for WEP (i need to go back and really work on fixing the security).
when I read the user's guide they didn't mention WPA security, only WEP.
My wife's laptop doesn't use WPA, that's one of the reasons why I didn't configure my router to use WPA [yet] hence why I'm using WEP on the router and bridge.

I don't know what to tell you man, I had no issues hooking mine up.
it connected to my router on the first try after following their instructions word for word as I'm sure you did.
the only difference between yours and mine is you are trying to use WPA security as far as I can tell.
Try assigning a specific IP to the bridge and see if that works. Also you could try mac address filtering on your router and force your router to give the same IP you program in the bridge based on the bridges mac address.

I'm not a fan of linksys routers... I prefer D-link, but I gave them another chance years later, recently bought a linksys router for my condo, needless to say, still the same crap, wireless connection drops for no reason.

I do agree, their routers suck a$$, My previous one always dropped signal and so did my in-laws linksys router.
This ethernet bridge isn't so bad to be honest. My last ethernet bridge was also a linksys and I never had any issues with that either.

2) If you got through step 1, in the bridge's IP settings, set it to the IP you chose in step #1.
If your router doesn't support mac address filtering, you can still set the IP in step #2, you'll just need to always remmeber that you've used that IP for the bridge in case in the future you accidentally use that IP for another device, or the router assigns tthat IP to another device automatically. To get around this, try selecting an IP that is very high, like 192.168.1.250

I figured out why it didnt work (kinda) I noticed that under the networking options you need to download some file from your computer to set up wireless gaming adapters or what not onto a usb drive and then install it on the 360 for these things to work. too bad I returned it and got the xbox one again. Oh well, I figured out my lag problems as well in the router settings so Im good to go.

I didn't have to do that on my elite. Are you running an older 360 core or premium? I wonder if the elite has this already pre-installed and hence why I didn't have any issue with it on my elite.

I was having problems with my old router of constantly dropping packets, but with this router and firmware combination I was able to solve that problem which my old router a Netgear wasn't able to do.
