I'm the lowest ranked player not my place to say anything so i should really STFU however....
Things i think should happen so this clan improves:

1. better plans for each map. Each map can have a few stratagies. We either play teams that use strategy or they don't. Those that don't we can easily defeat because of those on the team who have talent. We'll obviously get more experience as we observe better clans kicking our butts.


2. Buddy-up. No running off alone unless told to do so. I'm as guilty of it as anybody. This ties into #1. Practice rounds people should buddy with different people so everybody is comfortable working with everybody else.

3. Practice rounds should not just be let's play......should involve trying to implement different strategies etc., Seeing what counter attacks work and which ones don't.

 

mainly... people need to talk AND listen.

yesterday plenty of plans were laid out by people... and plenty people just completely ignored them or didnt respond.

 

I agree with Zap and Soop. we need to communicate more but more importantly we should practice (even if once a week) together where we can plan for strategies. I always do the same shit and just run off and I never speak so I am as guilty as anyone. I joined the clan to have fun but admit that I like winning too.

 

I guess I AM more afraid of opening the mic. and speaking out during GB's because I want to focus and hear what everyone else is saying...

I think we just need to get back in the saddle and throw down more games...

I for one, last night was floored... My jaw was on the ground... I WAS more pissed off about the fact that we challenged that clan... Needless to say, but I am over it... We need to pick our battles VERY wisely.... if we do not, NO ONE will show up to LOSE everytime we play.

I am not very good at teaming up, I end up shooting whomever is next to me..LOL...but if I had to choose I would run with whomever would want to team up with me...
Remember I am a heavy machine gun runner.. I lay down alot of bullets...

Well I think we do get better by playing noob clans... For goodness sakes think about, we have not even played all the maps together in GB, we are still getting a feeling for eachother and how we play certain maps.....

I am not picking shit... I said above I was over it.. we got slaughtered, but we did win a couple rounds, that counts for something in my book...

 

I just think that you get better by playing better clans, but it's up to you guys.

Anyways, I will let you, Jonesi, or soopa set up our next game battle. It's not that hard, but it can be time consuming.

 

why not just accept the challenges that come our way?...

How about we challenge the clan that we played and beat the other day... ?

How about we challenge one of the clans we played and lost to?... not including the one that just whooped our asses

 

I still think Soopa and Silver should be responsible for picking the battles. I absolutely didn't have a problem last night, although I hate losing! I thought it was a good check on where we are and safe to say we need to get better but we were competitive, especially in frostfire. Lets keep playing a good mix of noob and experienced clans but lets communicate more.

Smitty, I can roll with you because I've a run and gun type of player also. I don't mind covering other, better, players. When we playing together again. We need to redeem ourselves so lets go find us some 12 year old girls clan and beat the shit outta them!

 

I posted a match request, they responded on Saturday.

But anyways, set it up with whomever you would like. Not trying to be a dick or anything, but I think that some of you should take a more active roll in the clan. All that I am saying is that you set up the next match, then I will set up the next one after that... only seems fair.

 

I have no problem with soopa or Silver's matches so far. 10-0 was not much different than 7-3 and we put up a fight. maybe we should avoid undefeated squads for a few.

Besides, where the hell was Ted.

Oh, and we should go back to the lowest player on the first map bowing out to let someone else in. I felt bad for berner (or whoever didn't get to play yesterday). I know we were all frustrated about getting run that first map but still someone should have bowed out.

 

Well Smitty and Jonesi were appointed Captains for Game Battles so that they could also set up game battles.

 

Really, I didn't even know Berner showed up for the game battle. I feel bad since I invited him.

 

give me captaincy and I'll set up matches (actually j/k because gamebattles is blocked here at work). I agree that they should but I don't have a problem with you guys selecting.

No, you were given the responsibility to do that much because you were on the up and up of GB... I for one do not want that responsibility because I know nothing about it nor do I have the time to research GB's...

Regardless, you pick the matches, I am still gonna talk shit if we lose.. Just how I am.. build a bridge, get over it... But honestly, if I would of never found out they were 9-0 I would of never said a word....

Just pay more attention to whom you challenge... I do not want to get steam rolled like that again...

What ever happened to you asking for our opinion on matches?... can we go back to doing that?... Ya know, post it in advance and let everyone respond...

 

Honestly, maybe Steve, myself, or Ted should be made a CApTAIN instead of Smitty (only because he doesn't want the responsibility). I have my limitations (ie can't from work), but I can do it from time to time from home. I don't want to speak for steve or Ted but they are two of our best players and, at least steve, are pretty involved.

Not complex at all. Just go through the list of GB clans and find a few that you want to have a war with. I will handle all the communications and setting it up. Just tell me who you think would be a good challenge. FYI - we are ranked about 800, so that might be where you want to look at.

Also I clicked on the page for a few of the clans we beat and it says they no longer exist..
WTF is that all about?... they got kicked out of GB or left?...

 

They were about 300 when the challenge was made. And yea, you get more XP for playing better clans.

And a lot of clans disband after a few straight losses.

we can't improve if we play against shitty people. I had no problem with getting our asses kicked. The road to glory isn't lined with roses and tulips.

I don't mind a tough battle every once in a while.. It was nice to see their strategy on different maps from a high ranked clan.. Not a bad defeat.. But it also sucked to see us break down as a clan b/c of it.. Helped show our weaknesses though..
