played something other than Socom last night

Its been a while since I've taken SOCOMII out of the PS2 console but I did it last night. I finally decided to play Madden04 and got my ass thoroughly kicked! I've had the game about 5 months and have only played it thrice, since I'm addicted to SOCOM. I even have NFS Underground and I haven't played in months (I actually loaned it to my cousin last month and haven't thought about it since.

As for Madden04, this game is hard man! I'm 0-3 on the season so far and am giving up an average of 42+ points a game I'm averaging a respectable ~21 PPG but as you can tell it doesn't matter My running game is solid (tiki avgs 125 YPG and has 7 TDs) but my passing game is atrocious! Collins has 0 TDs and 10 INTs.

anyone else play this game? anyone any good? I think I have it on pro bowl level but I'll check.

I think you would do alot beeter if you didnt focus as much on the sweaty men in the game and concentrated on the ball instead....and i dont mean the players balls either you :fag:

Play it with some of the guys from ACL and see if your view changes. It is a team based game and a lot more fun when your friends are on.

Yeah I still think Socom > * , but Madden is pretty awesome in itself! I just needed a break for a little while.

I've learned that as I get older my video game skills have diminished significantly. I used to dominate games I played starting with Double Dribble, moving up to NHL94, and then on to StreetFighter2. As games got more complicated I couldn't keep up. Now I am just average at everything I play.

Madden04 - I'm OK after just three games but still get owned by the comp.
Socom - I am decent but thats it.
GT3 - I am good but not as good as others.

Oh well...maybe I'll polish off some of the GT skills before 4 comes out!

:GRINFAWK: I wear my diaper! My TV isn't huge but 32 isn't exactly small either. Next TV will have to wait a little while (till we buy a place or after school...assuming I get in somewhere).
