Question i need a new rpg

and no i dont mean rocket propelled grenade

rpgs i like
chrono trigger ftw
Xenogears
FF7
Zelda series
Tales of symphonia
chrono cross
skies of arcadia legends
fable

systems i have are
pc (p4,dx9.0c,xppro,2gbram)
wii
gamecube
n64
snes
ps1(i bought just to play ff7 and xenogears)

a really good story is a must but obvious to anyone who playes tales of symphonia that a really good combat system that is fun as hell can make up for it. there is a good chance of me upgrading pc just for a good rpg(i may have to when fable 2 comes out)
any recomendations? anyone hear of oblivion or something like that supposed to be a new one made by the people who made diablo.

Well, I was going to suggest Odin Sphere for the PS2...but, you don't have a PS2.

There are a few good RPGs for the PS2. FF8, 9, 10, Baldur's Gate series, although they're more Diablo type hack and slash. I had a lot of fun with them, though.

Get a cheap PS2. Lots of games are worth owning one.

I recently bought it at the spam urgings of some friends. I have yet to play it honestly...but, from what I've read and scene in reviews, this game's apparently the real thing: good and engaging storyline, fantastic graphics (!!), etc. etc.

And with uu on the Fallout series. Those games are ancient in regards to gaming age...but, just absolutely marvelous games.

To this day, Fallout 2 is still in my Top 3 for RPG games...and c'mon, any game where you can develop into evil incarnate (where you set foot into any town) and immediately the entire populace takes up arms to get you, sell off your wife, build your own robot...get's an A+++ in my books.

get the gba adapter for the game cube and pick up final fantasy tactics and fft advandced. this should eat your life away for about a month or two. and with the gba adapter this opens up more rpgs and pokemon if you a 5 year old girl. ff crystal cronicals was terrible in my view for the cube but it's like $20 now so it might be worth it now. ogre tactics, valkire profile I think are ps1 games. (rare games ebay them) I would get a ps2 and the gba adapter, this will open up a lot of things and farley cheap also, gba adapter is around $30 i think and used ps2 are like $99 now I think.

Final Fantasy Tactics was an obsession for a good month or two .. My ps2 controller just wasn't coming down from my hands when I got home from school heh. It is a PS1 game however, so you can play without a ps2 if you so choose.

Buy a PS2, and get FFXII - that should keep you busy.

I was able to get Jade Empire and installed it last night only played it for about an hour but i am really liking this so far and it has plenty of flexibilty for replay with 7 differant customizable characters plus with the "karma" system of open palm/closed fist and I like the amount of responce choices for conversation. combat is great so far I see a lot of potential in it.

Thanks UU
