HP Blackbird

I'm excited about this announcement because I've been waiting over 10 years for it. HP is finally getting into gaming! Hopefully, my HP discount will be nice enough for me to upgrade!

Awesome...

You know, I'll be looking for a new case eventually as the one I have now is about 4 years old. Its gone through several iterations of Mobo's. I'd like the next one to be completely fanless. Are their any cases out there that are good enough yet?

1100 watt power supply...
Intel V8?
Better come with some insane graphics card.... looks very interesting as I've never pieced together my own system before.... hopefully this one has lots of options.

And financing, cause DAMN! I could buy 2 cars that I would like by plopping down $7k.

7K will probably get you the fastest Intel Processor, 8GB of RAM, 2 8800 Ultra cards in SLI, up to 5 Hard Drives, and a Blu-Ray burner, HD DVD optional.

The cases look amazing. I haven't seen a case that looks that nice since SGI's cases.

The prices are insane though. After spending $1000 to build a PC that'd play DOOM 3 and Half-Life 2 when they come out, and then only playing those games on it due to the crazy lack of good PC games recently, I think I'm going to stick to console gaming.

bz268 is right - you could build a killer home theater setup with $7000.
