how many monitors?
how many monitors?
I realize tonight I might have a problem. I'm right now staring at three screens on one desk. Perhaps I'm one of many here, but it feels weird. I've got a 22" for my 360, and a 15" and 19" for my computer. Now keep in mind my 360 is also dual monitor, the second being 40ft away and a 32." Than both the computer and the 360 are networked to 3 other pc's.
So we're talking 7 monitors in all and one doubles as the sole TV.
Am I alone?
and I'm sorry if I reposted or something.. kinda deep in the grey goose right now.

In that case, you've got a problem haha. Its actually tight how you can watch off any monitor.
I only have two monitors hooked up to my desktop. One HP 19" Wide-screen and a Dell 17" Flat-screen. I also I have a 14" HP laptop that has a TV tuner card so I usually watch TV on that hooked up to the HP 19". I don't spend much time at home since I'm in school full time, so I'm usually on my 14" laptop.
If you can, you should get a quick pic of your set up.

I used to use dual 19" screens, then moved on a number of years ago to a 30" Dell with a 20" 4:3 Dell rotated vertically so the vertical resolutions matched up.
Now I'm wishing apple would make a matching 27" LCD that can sit alongside my 27" iMac.
I'd be happy with a smaller screen from Apple that could be rotated to sit vertically but still have the same vertical resolution of 1440 as my 27" screen. Also a pipe dream.

I thought my dual monitors for my pc was trick, until lasts night after running component wires up a wall to my second floor. Now I can play my games(MW2) or watch tv downstairs,
or if I want more privacy I go up to my tri-monitored computer desk and without switching wires or remotes or anything just turn power on and there's my game still in progress. Wifey can use the tv downstairs to watch tv or if she's really really bored... watch me play.
I think a set up like this would benefits someone like whiskers. Build some sort of IMAX porn setup or just have every tv/monitor in the house playing the same porn at the same time.

Two monitors for the PC - one 17 flipped, and 1 24".
xbox 360 is also hooked up to the 24"'s secondary port.
No TV, but I have a projector (which I don't consider a monitor).
I guess my priorities are different, but if I were the OP my PC would be using
the 22 and 19, and my xbox would be dualed with the 22 and the 32". (I assume
the 32" is a regular television).
Since you sit close to your desk monitors, I probably wouldn't even bother hooking it up to the 32" tv.
Good time to rant about how hard it is to find a desk with:
1) room for dual monitor
2) a keyboard drawer
3) drawers.
Easy to find 2/3, but finding all three in one desk was a PITA.

mind you were not talking about panoramic dual monitors for the 360. You can just go to a radioshack and get splitters for the a/v outs. I'm specifically doing it, so I can play downstairs on the big screen or if too many people are around go upstairs and play at the computer desk. I'm actually using the HD composite cables to go to the big screen, put splitters on the audio and run audio and SD through the wall upstairs.
i can technically speaking sit upstairs, play MW2, post on this forum and watch a movie at the same time, assuming one has that much pent up energy and the ability to absorb information from 3 media at once.
