Simple question, how do I change my settings so that my laptop doesn't ask me to login when I power it up? I don't even have a password set, so all I do is press enter to login, which is kinda pointless. I want to skip that whole process, my sister did something in attempt to "fix" my laptop, but now a bunch of crap is missing and now this silly login thing pops up

and NO, I will not System Restore.

 

control userpasswords2 i beleive there is a checkbox for it in there.

And the thing your sister did is accesed in controll pannel/ user accounts/ change the way users log on and off.

 

When I go to Change the way users log on/off it says:

none of these are checked and I can't check them anyway

Can't find whatever in Add/Remove programs either....

 

Crap, i'm sorry, your supposed to goto start/run then type in control userpasswords 2.

Damn this forum and it's editing rules, exposing me for the true blithering idiot one would meet in the real world.
