I worked at EB in the late 80's early 90's. It was okay. I think it was a much better store then than it is now. At least they used to sell some productivity software. The computers we sold were complete junk.

Who would have thought a store that started out selling watches in kiosk could be worth so much?

As long as they are in malls paying high rent that will likely remain the case...

I only go to EB because they sell used games. As long as they continue to buy and sell used games, it's all good with me.

True. I bought most of my games from Target or CompUSA since they have sales. An EB sale is 124525125 games traded in for $10 off a PS2.

But where else are you gonna trade in games? The secondary market for video games is almost non-existent.

Have you checked what used games are selling for on ebay? Bundles of games 8+ are selling for around forty dollars. Who the fuck is gonna buy my 2004 Madden? At least I can get a few bucks in trade in.

I traded in 9 games and got 82.xx in store credit, better than I could have done on ebay.

One of the many reasons why I buy most of my games at EB Games. The customer service is excellent and I find their sales staff more knowlegeable than Best Buy or Wal Mart.
