We have been playing the tennis for 4 straight days and I think I'm starting to add body mass to my right side

I thought it would be fun, but not this much fun!

ive had one for about a year now, its fucking fantastic. everyone who has touched it absolutely LOVES it....girlfreind, parents, grandmother, little kids, 20 somethings....you name it. it absolutely appeals to everyone and it is one of the most fun party toys ever created.

 

Hopefully in the future they can really improve on the motion sensor technology, that was my only gripe for the Wii ..

I am getting Wii Fit for my mom ... that's the "reason" why she bought it -- for exercise. Sad thing is ... no red text ... I'm dead serious.

There's an article in the New England Journal of Medicine coining the phrase "wii-itis" due to Wii Sports. I wish I had written something like that sooner so I could have been published in such an established medical journal.

The wii sports novelty wore off soooo quickly. I only needed a little more control with the tennis and I would have been happy

 

I am so happy about the success Nintendo has had with the Wii. I think this system really brought them back to the same emotions of their 80's hey-day of just some ridiculous gaming fun. Kudos to them for showing the rest of the world what the word FUN means.

The Wii is a great console...but it gets boring after an hour or so.
Wii sports got old VERY fast.

 

At least kids are now getting some exercise, damn lazy asses.

 

don't just play tennis, you only get exercise in one arm, play wii boxing.

rayman rabbid is fun for multiplayer, lego star war complete sage is great too.

i don't know about that... it's definitely fun with a group, but it's plenty fun with 2 people, and i have a lot of fun just playing it myself.
my friend and i have been hanging out more lately.. we pour a few beers, play some darts, bowl a little, all is good.
much better than the usual: "what's goin on tonight?" "nothin.." "..alright let me know if you end up doing something" and then watch some tv.

 

now i dont play the sport as i dont consider it a game it more like a flashy wii tutorial thats why it comes with the system. now DBZBT3 on the other hand has caused me to abandon most of my other games for the time being. I have never gotten sore from wii but then again i only use small precice movements they seem to register MUCH better than big wide swings and such

JJ since you like shooters have you tried metroid prime 3? i know its not a "realistic" shooter like COD but it is very fun although most of the "oh snap" moments i imagine would fall short if you have not played the first 2

I just got my own Wii yesterday, but i've been playing it anytime I went to my brother/sister in law. I got addicted to boxing almost immediately, I'm already Pro (my rank is over 1000) in boxing...I enjoy all of the sports games, i'm just waiting for the novelty to wear off, that's when I start buying new games...I did pick up The Need for Speed Pro Street, but only played it for a few minutes...
