I just bought it for 360, anyone play it yet? If so what do you guys think?

Got it running at 720p. Man oh man!!!!!!!!!!!!

You'll love it.

 

I picked it this evening.. I haven't had a lot of time to play it today, but I'm impressed so far. Can't wait to try it online soon.

Finally beat the game and got the Spartan (Halo) secret character. The game is great!

damn, how long do you guys sit in front of the TV and play??!! well, I suck at playing games, and even though I'm loving the 360, I can only play about an hour at a time... And I know you guys are gonna give me shit for this, but I get kinda sick and light-headed from playing Call Of Duty 2... so after about 45 to 60 minutes, I quit

I know, but it's probably a good thing... cause otherwise, I'd be playing ALL day and night... I figure... about an hour (maybe 2 max.) a day is good a limit... plus, I don't wanna use up so many hours on the Samsung DLP. I've had it for over a year now, no problems, but I have a client that's got the same TV, and he's had to replaced the bulb or something like that already, but then again... he's says his wife leaves the TV on all day, even when she's not really watching...

 

most of the games i'm fine on, but condemned I have to stop and rest every 20 or 30 minutes or so, something about the way the flashlight moves compared to other fps's makes me wanna hurl after long periods of play.

 

 

 

Put it this way. If I had to fight someone who looked like that, I'd get my butt kicked no matter how strong I was.

 

It didn't take very long at all. All you have to do is play through the story mode with every character. It probably took 2-3 hours at most. I had a lot of free time due to the long weekend, so I did it in a few sittings. I usually never play more than 1 hours spurts.

 

Great fighting game mechanics. The reversal system is great, it pretty much gets rid of the button mashers. Also, the story makes no sense and some of the endings either suck real bad or are gay as hell.

 

is it worth the 50.99? Should I or should i wait for Ghost Recon? I am having too much fun right now, on Need for speed Career mode and online, and CoD in Veteran mode.

 

What's the veteran mode in COD?

 

Like doom on "Death incarnate" Or something... higher difficulty than normal

I agree. The DOA series has gone from a button masher to an actual skill-based fighter similar to Tekken or the VF series (but not as in-depth as VF). Overall, I'm impressed with the game and the changes made so far.

In regards to the endings, they are the signature DOA endings. I find them quite amusing. Some really are pretty stupid but a few are pretty funny and some are really cool (Ryu's and Helena's endings are awesome).

My fiancee who hates video games actually sat down and watched each of the videos strangely.
