Do the batteries in these old NES carts still work (for save games)?

 

I loved the NES games' scores. Mega Man 2 Shadow Man stage was a cool tune

Yeah, once tried running through the game without any of the warp whistles. I got to World 5 or so before I got so sick of playing.

 

Some do, but I know you can buy replacement batteries.

and Mario Paint ftw. I spent countless hours on the animation feature

I used to love Super Spike V'Ball. I always used Ed and Mike. It's me and my friend's name.

 

Growing up, it seemed that only a very few of my friends could successfully accomplish this feat. I played it again not too long ago and was still able to do it.

Super Spike V'Ball was awesome, until I left it at my friends house and never saw it again.

Also, I had a cartridge that had over 80 games on it. There were obviously games that you couldn't get in the states, so I'm assuming they were only released in Japan. There were some pretty cool fighting games on it, a prelude to the Street Fighter series.

 

Kung fu heroes was my shit.

Picked up a composite cable for my old SNES and got it working.
I need to get some more games for it now

 

Did anyone ever play through ghost n goblins only to find that the game makes you play it through a second time? That shit sucked....

 

Ugh. and that game is so f'ing hard

 

lol...yeah....I never actually beat it the second time through....got sick of it...

 

buy another one cause Nintendo no longer repairs any of the following consoles

you can crack them open and replace them yourself. not that hard to do just need the right driver for opening the case

 

We used to crack open Super Famicom cartridges so we could play them in our SNES.
