Update: I played the single player demo last night and I love it. It runs like a dream in 1152 res with Medium detail, low shadows, 90% distance and 2x AA
Time to buy the full version...does anyone know where I can get it for cheap? (will try eBay)

have you guys ever come across someone in the heli with the camera missle who seems just too good? .....i sure have, i'm wondering if its a cheat because... i'll see the missle coming at me , it'll make a turn.... THEN at the last minute it make another significant turn just in time to get me... when i try the cam missle, i cant only get it to move the SLIGHTEST bit

They all swear it's not a cheat, but I'm one of the better pilots I come across and I can't manage to do this for shit!
Seriously, these kids doing this are amateur pilots yet can pull these miracle moves. Whenever I manage to get close to then though they fall apart, I tear them up when its pilot to pilot dog fight.
Yet, like I said, they'll kill me from all the way across the map with a damn TV missile WHILE they're FLYING their chopper.
At first I'd come across these guys maybe once a week... but I got on for the first time in about a month last night and in 4 games there were 2 guys pulling this shit.

BF2 is relatively solid considering the expanse of the game. Ya can't fault them for one major bug, SOCOM had bugs like this in every map and still does..... how many years after the first version?
They're coming out with the BF2 Euro expansion on the 8th, so I imagine they will update bf2 core at the same time and fix this bug.

WTF are these guys doing? I havent played this game on pc. But it seems as if they could see through walls? And stab people through the floor?
Hmmm seems like the glitches on Halo 2 were you could grab the bomb and flag through walls and all..

Second, improved AA?? On a map like Shunghua (sp?) Peninsula it is already IMPOSSIBLE to shake the AA.
I can almost understand the need for improved AA on maps that are large with varying terrain and AA far and few between, but if they're going to improve it they need to remove the amount of guns on smaller maps.
Even then though, on the larger maps you have planes constantly on your ass.... so whats the difference.
The in-world UAV is fucking sick. That's a really neat feature...
Picking up C4 is semi-cool/valuable on some maps.

I guess this flying device was not visible before, and now you can see it and destroy it right.? I wonder if they will put these on the 360 version.. Cuz i heard something about making close to pc version. But not ALL.

Only the commander can deploy the UAV, and only after its fully fueled. There is only one commander per team, elected at the start of the game.

Previously you had no idea if you were being scanned, you could be hiding behind a box or something thinking you're sneaky... meanwhile the enemy knew you were there the whole time because a damned UAV was flying overhead.
Now, you know the enemy is scanning you, and you can take action against it.
