the only thing is... not much info on multiplayer mode... I hope they realize how big the market is in MP and focus on it...

what do you mean by MP? online coop, or 16+ player online multi?

I watched the trailer you can dowload on live, adn it's freaking hilarious.

like i said in a post last night, it looks like it could be the bridge between your traditional FPS (say, Rainbow Six) and your next-gen FPS (say, GoW).

I can see them including 4 on 4, but not much more than that.

 

4 on 4 would be cool... that's how it is in "GOW"... though, I like 16 on 16 on "GRAW" BUT more people, more chance of having idiots playing

 

i dont like games more then 5v5, 4v4 being ideal.

the only game i've ever played where i liked having LARGE groups of people was Battlefield...

16 player deathmatch is lame.

 

I hope this game doesn't suck.. EA has been really shitting out games..

 

How about 2 vs 16 online multiplayer?

 

See something like that could work out.. but maybe not 16 players.. Since what it looks like the game is based on is you and a partner do the missions, they could have a multiplayer where you go against other people. 2v8 could be good, as the 8 would be real players and could provide more of a challenge than the AI.

I saw the trailer last night... looks good, just seems like a more realistic version of Gears of War...

I loved Gears versus a regular FPS, the over the shoulder camera is nice.

 

I hear the multiplayer is only 2 vs 2 tho...

I can't dish out $60 for a game I might not play, I did that with Mass Effect.

 

yeah, me too... the days where I run out and buy a new game just because it's new are over... that was dumb... I might look into Frontlines-Fuel of War tho... I hear good things about it (well, from a friend anyway). But for sure... Rainbow Six-Vegas 2... in about a week

yeah, the only thing is... the local Blockbuster's doesn't get their new releases on launch day... you never know when they'll get it... then when they DO come in... they're all gone in a second... and those muthafawkers keep'em forever...

LMAO, my cousin came over and was like "lets rent it" he is playing it right. I don't like it but I don't like most games. Only games I tend to play are Halo, GTA, and Call of Duty.

 

Supposed to be OK, just not as good as COD4.

If you like co-op it would probably be worth picking up.

 

yeah, that's what one of the reviews said... co-ops is fun... but I never have anyone to play co-ops with... I think I'm just gonna wait for RSV-2 when it comes out...

 

May have it tonight. I told my friend to grab 2 copies if he gets it. Got pretty good reviews.

I don't mind 3rd person... I was really hooked on the Ghost Recon series... but I'm still not sure about this game... Anyone playing Frontlines-Fuel Of War?

 

Finally had a chance to play this last night. This game is great, but it must be played with a human partner. I played the first level with the AI controlling my teammate, but it was awkward. My friend jumped on and we blasted thru the first 4 levels. The game doesn't work if you run thru and disregard your partner, you have to work together or you die. That is the best aspect of it. In COD4, you basically all go your separate ways and try to get as many kills as possible, you cant do that here.

Graphic wise, the game looks really good. Your characters are very detailed. The gun sounds are a little weak, but thats not too bad, i'm sure with a nice surround sound setup, it will be better. The controls are good, everything is easy to do, you never have to think about what to press.

If you like team co-op games, I'd say you will definitely love this game. Can't wait to try the multiplayer

I thought the game was ok, could have been much better.. It is def a rental tho!

 

How's the language in it? My ten year old really wants to get it because he'd much rather play co-op with me than play against me.

COD4 campaign is serious and shoes horrible consequences. Army of 2 is 2 guys shooting people then rocking out on air guitars. I wouldnt get it for a 10 year old but then again I am not a parent.

 

They say things like f*ck, sh!t, b!tch, etc.... they talk smack to each other, and to other characters, and make fun of things too. I downloaded the demo last night.

 

Yeah, that was my impression from the trailers. I'm going to disappoint him on this one though I do let him play COD4 and HL2.

 

i personally didnt care for the demo as the game feels like a reskinned gears of war.

 

I played it the day it came out and the for the next few days, while I was up in VA visiting a friend. 2 xbox's with a system link and this game is fun as shit.
