Just curious if anyone is playing Lord of the Rings online? I have been playing for about a month now and its ok. I'm recovering WoW addict and this doesn't have quite the same "gotta play it" feel but all in all its okay.

I can't man. As much as I would like to. I have over 1100 hours invested into WOW.. I don't think I have the energy to invest that much time into another game....

I have heard good and bad things about it.

 

I play it a few hours a week. Since I read the books as a kid, I really like the plot/quests and scenery.

 

IM SO MAD i spend all that time installing and the freaking servers are down i see that the times are probably convent for most people but in my time zone that meand i wont get to play untill tomarrow i waste a day

 

RJ, when you get it up and running start in windfala (something like that) and add "chica" to your friends list. I don't have much money but, depending on your class, I can maybe hook you up with some starting coin and some gear.

Add "Sinderela" too. Thats an alt I play on for certain mat farming. Been using her a lot the last couple of days.

i have a friend, him and his wife both play both games his wife prefers lotr while i think his words were "pretty good considering how new it was" there are things he says that he likes about this one over wow but im new to the whole mmorpg thing so i didnt know half of what he was talking about


and thanks for sending me wood can i make another person just for getting wood for my main guy? could i mail my self the wood?

 

You can make other toons for gathering (thats what I do). I'll try to remember to send it. I actually just canceled the account and went back to wow . For some reason, lotr, just doesn't have the same appeal for me. Its fun, just slow and I feel the "need" for multiple people parties is too strong at the low levels.

 

yeah made a guy for getting wood hehehe but im having second thoughts on it too i mean i like playing it but it seems more like i play becuse i say to my self you know your paying for this right? if i cancel can i sell my copy to someone else and they activate it? how would that work or if i canx can i resume like a month or too later without having to start over

 

Thats why I still play wow.. Working on my second 70. 54 atm
