I am playing Prince of Persia Warrior Within, and I am stuck on where to go after you get your 3rd primary weapon in the game (the chick with the red dress gives it to you...and you have to get to the east tower in the past, but all the ways I have discoverd lead to dead ends! The FAQS on gamefaqs suck and don't realy help me here...anybody know what to do?

 

is this the second prince of persia game?

that game was so goddamn long. way to much back tracking.

considering how big it is, it's really hard to say what you need to do without actually seeing it.

 

yeah it is the second game. And that is what is getting me lost...there is so much backtracking its not even funny...and too many of the hallways with traps look the same...great concept with some of the new moves, but the whole map kill sit for me. I just happen to have the third one too and I want to finish the second before I do the third...there's a map on gamefaqs.com, but it is so damn confusing!

 

what was the last cut scene you had it will help me figure out where you are

 

the last cutscene i had was when the girl in the red dress who works for the empress of time gives you a new sword..and you are in the room where there are four pillars in the center, and near the center is a crank you can turn to raise/lower the rocks to get from one side of the room to the other. I believe its the central hall...and my goal now is to get to he east tower in the past. but i cannot find the way to the tower...

 

in that room there is a crank which has 4 posistions your first task should be the water tower which you need to turn it to the 3 oclock position or you cant get there then you then need to look around the room to start your acrobatic sequence that will get you to the door hope that helps if your still stuck

the second game was soooo godamn long, but still some pretty sweet acrobatics as usual. At abotu 4/5th of the way through I just said screw it and used a guide for the rest beacause I was sick of all the backtracking, adn it gave you no clue as to where to go next.

3 was better than 2, but I still like 1 the most.

first time I ever saw 1 I was soo blazed and I was freaking awestruck at the acrobatics shit. it was great.

I'm way past that now!!!! ghost master, first time i played one i was in the same condition...hahaha...i hope 3 is better than two cuz i think 2 is worse...but i have 3 here for when i am done!!! but yeah, that backtracking is what kills me...seriously. you get too lost soemtimes...especially blazed...lol...too many halls are identical to each other.

 

yeah glad you got past 3 is great it is my fav i like 2 but its too glitchy but i will tell you that 2 has 2 endings 3 is based on the special ending which you get if you find all the life upgrades and get the special sword. so you wont think WTF when you start 3 and think they are just making up crap

 

?? ok...now you GOTTA tell me how to get this sword!!! lol...as forthe health upgrades...I think I got most of them so far. I'm at water & gardens, and I found 4 so far.

 

ok you know the main room? the one with the crank to take you to the towers? well straight ahead the room whith the hour glass? well if you look on the floor there is a cirle with a design and 9 or so symbols. well as you get life upgrades the upgrade you got corrisponds to a symbol on the floor in this room mif you get all of the lit (get all the upgrades) and the sword will be there

Oh snap what was the last cut scene you saw there is a ponit in the game when certin life upgrades become unreachable

the last cutscene i saw was right after the dahaka chases me after the part you helped me with...nothing storywise though...is it too late?

 

no you have time if you use that guide it will tell you when you can no longer find which ones

 

good stuff..I think according to that I am getting kinda close to the end...I can't wait to start 3!! I hear the dark prince is pretty funny and a lot of fun!
