Just wondering if anyone has come across and sweet rides in the used car showroom? I mean something you would never picture being in there or just something that you drove growing up that brings back memories. I found my old car but it was a given it would be in there, 1995 240sx.

 

i found my wifes 93 civic si hatchback on the same color, im looking for a 91 civic si hatchback have not found i yet though. but these cars should be there also.

 

Well everyday there's a car that's not usually there like a TVR Cerbera, Mazda 787B, Toyota GT1 Race Car. Just need the cash. I notice there's hardly any non-Jap rides though.

 

yeah heard about those 3 full carbon fiber cars in the used car lot? suppostly it should be in the used car lot on the day 694.

 

Not 3 but 4, and they are LeMans Prototypes(also known as Group C cars) to be exact. Available on day 694 to 701.

 

yea i just started to save up on that, im at day 500 right now they are secksi one fast way that im winning up my money is doing the american stars and stripes race and winning the camero LM car since the races you do to win it are like ~3-5 laps and only 3 races and the camero gets you like ~200,000, i used to do the one where you win the concept 350z in the japanese hall but this one im doing is much quicker

Try the DTM Championship(Germen Touring), You can earn 880k in 15 to 20 mins in B-Spec mode.

 

The M3 GTR is a nice jewel. It only comes with 500+ hp but drives on rails. Takes turns like nothing. Did the Apricot in mostly 3rd while most cars need to go down to 2nd.

You have to win a CLK Touring Car first @ Silver Arrow cup.

Then give it a lv. 4 turbo upgrade, and you are good to go.

 

Silver Arrow needs a Benz. SL65 with Stage 4 turbo is cheaper than stock SLR. I used a SL65.

SLR = FR, long wheelbase, overweighted, ugly in silver.

Like Doom878 said, get a SL65 instead.

SLR is a dog, other nice cars that suck are: BMW LM, BMW Mclaren, Paganis, Aston Martins, CIEN

 

I used the Cien for a bunch of races. I didn't think it was that bad. Slow shifting though.

 

Something slightly random since we're slightly on the topic of SL65s: How the hell do you put the top up/down on convertibles? I'm 58% complete in the game and haven't done it to any of my convertibles...sad huh?

 

im not sure you have the option of putting it down....on my 65, some times the top is down or up, i like it when its up, looks better

 

they put the top up when you're in races w/ more than 1 other car i believe cause the PS2 cant handle the load of having to render the driver and having him shift along w/ all the other cars

 

Dang I didn't notice about the top. Even though it's a good option to get the CLK Touring car doesn't the SL65 so NOT feel like a race car.

 

GT4 thread is too fucking long. We should seperate them out into sections like Cheats, Secrets, Best lap times...or something because I am sure there is some good shit somewhere in there but shit is too cluttered

how do you do it in B spec mode?

 

right before you start any race there is a horizontal menu at the bottom....it has settings, control options, exit, a spec and b spec modes

A-Spec is the first on the left, and right next to it is B-Spec mode.

A spec mode has a steering wheel icon and B Spec has a headphones icon

B Spec is aka directors mode on the menu i think

once your in B spec set the pace to OVERTAke to pass all the cars

Pace settings for B spec are at the top of the screen

You can re-win all prize cars in the game.(except licence test & mission hall prize cars.) If thats what you worry about...

Its the fastest way to earn fast cash in the game.
