Hi,

I have been playing the Ring Island map with 3 COs for 3 days. I cannot beat it. Help please!!!!

crapped! got owned again!

I am using Rachel.

Every time I get Olaf under control, Grit will build up quick. And when I get Grit under control, Olaf will come attack like a bull!

 

Haven't played that level yet, but will try.

 

I played all day today.

I switched to Grit and Sammy. They both last longer than Rachel. But NOOOOOO!!! dammit!!! I tried to rush with Sammy. Didn't work. I tried to match Grit with Grit. But as long as Olaf had built up, I was owned big time!!!

I even got to a point to capture most of the $$$ from Olaf. But I couldn't hold my bases when Grit built up with 3 Battleships and tons of Submarines. And then both Grit and Olaf would land massive infantries to my islands.

God dammit!!!!

 

damn! morning already!

I just have an idea. I am going "park" a Blackboat in their Seaport to block them from building ships. This should give me couple turns for me to build up.

 

I haven't play this one yet. But for the other ones I tried different approach like, speed, power, etc.. to see which one would work.

 

Dude, when I wen to turn on my game to play advance wars and look for the ring island map I realized that it is not there. You know why because I am playing Days of Ruins and you are playing the old ds game... Sorry I would love to help you out there but im too addicted to this new advance wars to go back to the old one. From what I recalled in the old game I always picked Max and Sam and I win a lot of battles with them.

 

I was playing Days of Ruin the other day. But I had to put the old one back and finish the Ring Island map with 3 COs.

I parked a bunch of Sub and Blackboat in their bases. Help j-u-s-t a little tiny bit. But still no go in my first try.

 

Ok I guess I will go get the game again and try it out. Ill see how it goes.

 

Almost got it!!!! AAAAlmost!!! I made a single mistake and they took out half of my bases... I got Grit cornered and almost finished him. But just one mistake. Olaf landed shit load of craps in my bases and then Grit came back and took back his islands!!!

I was using Sammy. I moved really fast this time to corner Grit from north and east. I totally ignore Olaf in the first half of the game but did park bunch of Blackboats in his shipyards.
