Anyone played the demo yet? If I recall, it's made by the same guy who made a few Resident Evil games. The combat feels like Resident Evil 4, but just much faster paced and more....well, more all around
I noticed that this is just another one of those action games where it seems you always need to reload at the worst possible time.
I don't know about anyone else, but I got whipped pretty good. It's not "hard" it's just easy to get overwhelmed, especially when you're fighting that big guy in the demo.

I played the demo and felt it was alright.
The characters seem lame, but the gameplay was solid. I like the upgrade system but I hate the ammo capacity. I spent most of my boss battle running around for more ammo.
The art style and graphics are great. Game mechanics are nice, but I can't say I care for the cover system.
From what I can tell from the demo, the game isn't a day one buy. I wouldn't mind owning it after a price drop however.
p.s.- Gliding requires your character to be in the most awkward position. Who thought it was a good idea to do a back flip somersault thing just to exit boosting? Figured there would be a more efficient way to stop.

Yeah the ammo capacity was pretty bothersome. It took me awhile before I realized you can kick open those crates and get ammo that way.
Another thing I didn't like was how hard it is to try and gauge your grenade throws. Maybe they could have done something similar to MGS4?

Downloaded it and got most of the way through the tutorial before some of my SR2 MP people got on. I'll get around to actually playing it one of these days. All I can say right now is that it looked good, and the button configuration was similar to many other games (a very good thing as it cuts down on the learning curve).

And the enemies are some of the best I've seen in any video game.
Spoiler warning:
There will definitely be a second part.
As stupid as it sounds, I'm kind of happy to hear it's short. I've been dying to play this game, but I'm kinda strapped for time. I could find a better use for my time than video games, but....... you know.
"Reviews on the Run" gave this game a really high score... I've been looking for a used copy in the Game Stops up here, but haven't found one. (I can't really bid on eBay right now, because I'm in Canada).
I assume it didn't sell well because it wasnt' advertised much. I didn't know it was coming out until the week it was released...
^Good point. Come to think of it I can't remember ever seeing an ad for this game anywhere.
Just weird, because Bayonetta wasn't really advertised too much either. It's weird since both these games were made by the same developer PlatinumGames.

I'm deciding to either pick up this game or Medal of Honor (the latest one), more or less for the single campaign... Anyone have both of these games?
Vanquish is down to $45 at the local Game Stop (and a used copy for $42).

The price dropped 50% in just a few short months. Doesn't sound like it sold too well
