Yes, haven't you seen the videos of us troops jumping off cliffs in Afghanistan and knifing people? This is how wars are won. Also, everybody knows that claymores can tell friendly from foe, snipers usually do their best work while running side to side and jumping, and noobtubes are frowned upon by all sides.

I only use my mic if I am playing with friends. It's way too annoying to hear all these assclowns sing and hum. I have found that if you mute somebody's mic today and leave it muted, it will still be muted next week if you end up in a game with them. [360]

We had some SERIOUS Acurazine SOCOM II battles. During winter when no one was out doing anything it was almost 5 nights a week we'd have 8-10 people playing at a time. Great times.

So I just joined the party late... I've been playing since I got my ps3 on Friday.
I fukkin love this game but feel lost at times.
No instructions come with it, and i'm a noob when it comes to consoles (always played PC games)
Still learning tho! I just tried the c130 yesterday for the first time and I came.

On smaller, "indoorsy" maps like Skidrow, Favela and Sub Base usually if you're constantly on the move, the other team doesn't notice you coming til its too late even if they have a UAV up. I used to bumrush people, and with the benefit of the quicker aiming after sprinting of LW Pro, they'll usually lose if its comes to a 1v1 shootout.

I'll keep checking this thread for when the new maps are released, heh. Once I got Mass Effect 2 I started playing it quite a bit. Just beat my first playthrough yesterday, though I cut a few corners.
I think I got sick of MW2.... I played it nearly every single day since I got it on its launch. If I wasn't playing it at my house, I was playing at a friend's house. My friends would IM me and tell me to go on and most of the time I did, even when I was shitfaced drunk, bwahaha.... good times. I sometimes played it twice a day... right when I woke up then right before I went to sleep. Haven't played it in a week or two though.... and for a few weeks before that I was only playing it once or twice a week. A lot of my friends got PS3s for Christmas or otherwise
Any of you gonna get Bad Company 2?

I don't know, playing a shooter that's similar to another makes it more likely to get old more quickly. Me and my friends were huge fans of Halo 1 with our LAN parties 
but we played Halo 2 more because it was LIVE capable. We played Halo 3 even more and it was a better game than both 1 and 2 but we didn't play it nearly as much just because it got stale.
Same goes for GTA IV.... best game of the entire series IMO. but after playing GTA 3, Vice City and San Andreas, its just too much.

pretty sure that's not an AC130 hovering in one spot scopin out the baddies...that's not how they operate and that definitely wasn't GAU machine guns rippin the dudes up. more likely it was an Apache with its 30mm chain gun.
