Called in 2 nukes today with tommy's strategy.


It's def different from how I usually play, but it works, that's for sure.

 

ok, so now i need to unlock attach chopper and get one man army. i want to hit a nuke so bad.

 

I had an 11 killstreak today, just from being a little more "patient" and with the help of a Harrier strike. felt good!

 

Had the game of my life on sunday. I was playing domination on afghan and was using the ACR. I literally just kept running between C and A using marathon and racked up the kills. Once I got the the harrier and chopper gunner, the kills really started racking up, ended up getting 30 kills from those two alone and got the nuke. Ran around and got like 5 more kills then decided to call in the nuke. My team was somehow still down so I got the challenge too. Ended up going like 54-1 and the only death was from the nuke. Only problem was that I had to deal with the 12 year olds yelling at me before I could mute them.

I wanted to try OMA last night but realized that I prestiged and not high enough to unlock OMA. Will try it again tonight.

man.. i must really suck at shooting game..
just started multiplayer last night (didn't even bother to play single player).. i think my kill/death ratio is not even 1 to 1...
some games i do better than 1 to 1.. some games i don't..
maybe i need to get used to the map and game plays...

overall initial expression?? i like this game..

Yohan, don't worry about your K/D ratio. It'll suck for a while. Do you play on XBox?

 

dunno about my scores. Just add me already so you can see for yourself my ratio is steadily going up though, trying to get to 3.00 or at least close to it. I think it's really close to 2.7 at the moment, but I had a couple of bad games to end the night yesterday, running around with my akimbo 1887's cause some people were Ranger-ing.

I'll admit FPS is sort of a natural gaming genre for me. I've been playing FPS games since Goldeneye, and in middle school I spent hours at LAN cafes with my friends playing CS, hours at my friends' houses playing Halo/2/3, and I even played a bit of Duck Hunt back in the day, heh

 

that reminds me, people on XBL are idiots. Some guy was complaining about me camping (if I could figure out how to work this capture card crap, you guys would laugh at that comment) meanwhile half of his team was camping. Like I'm going to run in there like a jackass while three different people are watching the hallway? I called him out on it and he had nothing intelligent to say so he told me to stop crying? when it was him that started bitching about our team camping in the first place. then he left

I had like 30 kills from the chopper gunner, it was unbelievable. One person commented, saying, "you were at 38 kills like, 4 seconds ago." and below that was "bot much?" This was my 10th nuke in the last 4 days, using my strategy. I was the last person to die from the nuke, too, so my longest killstreak now is at 52. I'm done and have the nuke icon now, so I'm gonna start doing something different now.

 

hey tommysalami, do you have do different custom class with one man army because every time i do the one army thing, my C4 that I have placed before blows up? am i doing something wrong? do you have any suggestions on locations on the different maps?

 

Nah you can do the same class. I guess it's just like that with C4. The best maps for this, i've found have been Rundown, Underpass, Favela, and Karachi (karachi by far is the best). On Karachi for example, there's a brick building near A with an archway and stairs leading to the top, which overlooks B on domination. From this, you can also hit A with grenade launcher rounds, as well as shoot down the alley towards C. I put clays at the steps going up, and blow up anybody who is careless enough to walk out in the open.

I think I'm going to prestige, anything I should take care of first?

 

Surprised you havent yet. Whatever you do now will be erased after Prestiging aside from whatever Emblems or Callsigns you want. There's probably a few that you can only get with weapons that come late game so you can probably get those before you prestige, but you can really do that at the end of any prestige level.

You also get new callsigns and emblems after you prestige. I absolutely love stabbing so I've already got the new gold Blademaster emblem.

I love the Emergency Airdrop, I just hate that everyone tries to take your stuff.... it's always the good stuff too. Reminds me of when I got a chopper gunner on derail... after I called it in some guy came from the side and killed me. Then I rushed back to the spot and my teammate came there half a second before me and went prone to take cover behind it, blocking me from doing the same, and I ended up being the one shot because he was protected by the care package.
