I've become a thumper fiend...wish they let you carry more than 2 rounds.

 

Add the grenade launcher to your primary along with the Thumper as the secondary and you're set. I did that for a bit as one of my classes.

I should try this with Sleight of Hand and Danger Close.

 

I did that to get the danger close pro perk.

I wish the scavenger pro perk gave you more shells to use

I honestly think the perk is overpowered..... which is why I use it. Also if you shoot a javelin, or use the grenade launcher, it'll only let you pick up one round. You usually have to switch to the launcher, pick up a scavenger bag, reload, then you can pick up another.

paired with claymores, not only do I essentially have someone/something watching my back (I'll hear the "click") it will also help me get kills. Most of the times when I've gone 25-0 or better, it was on Derail.... I camped in the top of the 2-story office in the middle of the map, strategically put claymores at the stairwells, and picked people off from the windows. I almost never get sneaked up on up there.

You essentially can have an infinite number of claymores, grenade launcher rounds, semtex, frags, thumper rounds, etc. PLUS you'll pretty much never run out of ammo for your gun. I almost never used bandolier in COD4 except for one or two classes, now only one or two classes don't have scavenger.

If you die every 5 seconds that's another story

 

I realized that during the time that I play, 10PM to 1AM California time, there are a lot of good people on. But if I play in the afternoon, say around 4 to 6PM, I knifed 26 people without dying in Derail.

Same here, If i get up early on Saturday morning I always have a better K/D ratio. Not sure if its me, or the other players but I definitely do better.

 

i gotta agree with mastertl on this that one^^^ ill go 25-1 or along those lines in the afternoons and go 10-12 or something after 9 pm :/
maybe i should stick to the afternoon times lol

ive also been wanting a new set of headphones since the xbox ones hurt my head after about 10 mins and cant hear sheeeet on them! anyone have suggestions for a good set for a decent price?

usually its whenever my friend goes on.... he usually texts me then I go on. Once in a while I'll play in the morning too. You may see me playing at 2-4am on the weekends... you may or may not wanna play with me then cause I'll probably be drunk and I'll play like crap

Hell yeah. I can wear it for a couple hours and not even notice its there.

The original 360 headset OTOH... it felt like my head was in a damn vise. The part that clamps on your head has a damn deathgrip, that's probably why your head hurts.

my only gripe with them is that they volume control/mute isn't right there at the controller, it's in the middle of the cord. I've gotten used to it

Yeah, my friends perfer domination. Its OK...can get SUPER frustrating...but playing against anyone online usually is when they live for the game memorize the boards and snipe/knife etc.

I just want to jump in and have some fun.

Okay the javelin glitch is getting really old...

 

i hate those damn javelins! i was playin high rise and everyone i hear one getting shot i hide for cover!
its like the whole other team had them and shot them one after another but never got a single kill out of it

 

Javelin glitch is fixed, at least on the PC. It's really funny because someone was trying to do it, but they were just running around getting killed and nothing was happening

 

can someone refresh my memory on what exactly the javelin glitch is or was?

The javelin explodes when you are killed, killing anyone around you.

 

ohhhhhh cant say thats happened to me yet but would def be gay if it did

i played by best session yesterday where i didnt get a kill/death ratio worse than 18/6!!even tho i played in the afternoon

 

Last night i was finally able to do drop the nuke and end a game. Granted that most of my kills came from the chopper gunner. But i was very happy that i was able to do it at least once in this game.

 

It is very annoying that this happens. Especially when there is more than one POS that is doing so.

 

MS said they will start banning for 24 hours if you get caught using the Javelin cheat until they can get a patch out. Not sure how they accomplish that though.

Report them if they use the glitch, Xbox is handin out bans for whoever is caught using it. Good news is that they're patching it so it should be gone eventually.

Too bad they haven't patched those gay ass shotguns yet. I made a class with akimbo 1887s to use just in case someone uses it in game. Most unbalanced BS I've ever seen in a COD game.

I hate the javelin glitch so much. I was playing a game on Domination (ground war w/18 ppl) and half of the other team was using it . Every two seconds some douche would come running at the flag and kill everyone.

 

the other night, this guy in the other team was doing that "rock" glitch in Afghan, and it was pissing me off

I hate it when people abuse the akimbo 1887s. They have ridiculous range. Some dude killed me at an opposite end of the second floor hallway in the middle building of Skidrow with a single dual shot. I felt like throwing the controller through the TV after watching the killcam.
