Last night I decided to try and use the forza upload feature to show an entire lap and it was a colossal waste of time. About 3/4 of the way through I realized I hit a wall on this lap too (It was my first lap after tuning this stupid corvette), but I was too far to start over. So here it is, 30 seconds at a time and in the wrong aspect ratio.

I really need to start tuning my cars. I just put parts on them and race them the way they are. Any tips?

So I'm using my BMW X5 (F-Class, 200) for the Euro F-Class races and I beat Sean's (AnthraciteA-Spec) time by 14 seconds on the Mugello Club Circuit. Granted he was using a Beetle, but still funny

research how the parts work online. then u can be a tuning monster. biggest thing i always do is supension. everything else is crap if u got the best handling car out there.

Use that site for a base tune on suspension. It asks for some information on the car you want to tune and gives you the specs to used based on a calculation of the Weight, engine position, and drivetrain of the car....pretty cool

It's in a google spreadsheet, not sure if you know how to use google docs or not.

 

 

I doubt the way I tune cars will help you get in the top 10 or anything. I just tune them so I don't get frustrated driving them.

I usually drive the car for a couple laps and decide what I want it to do differently. For most cars I usually only give it the 1st or 2nd suspension upgrade and change the way it handles with the adjustable anti roll bars and tire pressure. If it's a car I want to use in a online race I will usually buy the adjustable suspension and spend time trying to get as much traction as possible adjusting the camber and looking at tire temps. I find myself spending most of my time tuning the front toe in, spring rates, tire pressure, and anti-roll bar to get it to turn in the way I like, but I have to make sure not to go too far or the back end becomes a problem.

 

With 3 kids now I usually only get on around 11pm (PST) which means half the people on my squad are in Asia.

Good game, uses the same classic Battlefield formula, just depends on if your squad wants to actually play or just camp and snipe.

Finally passed...whatever level last night and got a M3 GTR...and something else. Wasn't really paying attention.

Too busy trying to remove stupid vinyls from my VIP cars. Horrid.

 

The first thing I do with those free cars is take all of the shit off of them. They are designed and put together well, I just don't like them

 

I took that Camaro SS and made a 'Black' clone. Thing looks wicked, stainless hood and all.

Got in a bit this weekend, it was good to drag the old wheel stand out for a spin. Broke through the Lvl20 barrier as well.

Really need to set aside some time to make some more headway in this game. Especially with baseball season coming up.

Do any of you play it with the regular controller, or do you all have a wheel?

 

Most of us play with a regular controller I believe. I've always found it easier to use

 

Much prefer the wheel. Once you use it for awhile, you can't go back.

Really would like to find the time to do an enduro.

 

I use the controller. I've never used a wheel. I would like to, but don't have enough funds to buy a wheel just to see if I like it or not

 

I still only have a pc wheel, they take up too much space to get another until I can justify the paying for the fanatec that works on pc, ps3, and 360.
