i dunno what it is, but the rendering of the models in all versions of forza and pgr just seem off to me, they dont seem right.

cant put my finger on what it is thou.

as for the PIT maneuver thing, thats one thing I liked about Gran Turismo..... go 50mph into a hairpin then hit the CPU as they go flying into the dirt while you slow down to just the right speed

I didn't race like that all the time though, but when they pissed me off by spinning me out or something it was vengeance!

 

I hope there are some better Acura's in there. It would be nice to see some TL Type S...or even a CL-s would be awesome. The only newer Acura besides the RSX on the game was the RL. Who the hell wants to drive the RL in a racing simulator?

I've beaten Forza 2 twice on two separate accounts. I played GT on my old PS2, and even played the Prologue on a friends PS3, but it just doesn't compare to Forza

^It seriously takes fucking forever. About 50 or so hours including all of the arcade racing. I would do maybe an hour or 2 a day over a period of time. I can't stand sitting and not doing shit for the entire day. Now I'm doing it again on a 3rd account and I'm level 41 or something. I've done a separate region each time and blah blah.

Yea I'm pumped. I really don't play that many video games, I have like 5 360 games, but I absolutely love Forza. My friend and I have been waiting for it to come out ever since I beat Forza 2 the first time. Yea I have a green GT3 RS, I did some stuff to it, but kept it as a S class car. When I first got the game, I was obsessed with putting every part and option on every car (minus the bumpers, etc.). Now I'm going back through and making them more practical. Eventually the cars just get stupid fast and I can't keep them on the track. Don't ever upgrade the new 911 GT2 or the 430 Scuderia all the way. Those things are nuts.

 

Same here. I played for hours and hours when it first came out. In the beginning I modded every car until it hit the U class lol and that was just a waste of money! Now it's all about getting the fastest/best handling set-up in each class. The F430 is a mean ass car but I can't even go straight in that shit, it just looses traction and your done. I know this winter my lazy ass is sitting on the couch and playing Forza 3 I'm glad it comes out during winter, it's cold outside and that gives you an excuse to stay home and play lol

 

Haha I agree. I put the lightest wheels on the car except those ugly monoblock ones and do the suspension kits, wider tires, and other shit and do the power mods last. I love the 430, but the 599 is my shit. And yea I'm pumped I don't have to wait all the way until X-Mas, about 3 months from now and I'll be lounging around playing unless my bum ass gets another job or school is consuming my life

 

Oh please do tell where this drag strip is in Forza 1. I know there was one in Sega GT 2002, but none that I know of in Forza.

 

alright i forgot exactly where but search around in the arcade. it's the very last choice when you pick the track. hopefully someone can chime in with a little more help.

I talked to my parents about it and they said they will give it to me for X-Mas if I want to wait for it and save my self $80. I like the idea of saving money but I want it when it comes out. I will probably be purchasing this. I beat Forza 2 and got 970/1000 on the achievements. The damn million dollars online eludes me lol. My live account expired, but I might renew it just for this game.

 

Damn that's crazy you got that many achievement points. I'm at 700 something I believe. I would just wait 2 more months until Forza 3 comes out and then renew it then

 

haha yeah it took me awhile. Some games I get pretty into. Like the GTA series I have 100% completion on GTA3, 100% Vice City, San Andreas I got 100% twice, once on ps2 and again on Xbox lol, and then I got 100% on GTAIV back when it first came out. But yeah I might renew my live, I dunno I been doing a lot of PC gaming and my 360 has been making funny noises lately....I think I wore it out haha

Good god that's nuts! I've done all of the missions in all of the GTA games but I've never gotten 100%. I love GTA4.

You better get your 360 looked at before F3 comes out. Mine was making funny noises, and then it would freeze in the middle of a game, and then red ringed. I had to send it to Microsoft. It took them a month and a half to get it back to me. Granted I only play video games once or twice a week, I was really craving some Forza 2 when it was gone haha

I think thats the best video of Forza3 yet. Its really showing some bad ass footage. That first launch is bad ass.
