Looking for a good place to take my TL-S to get re-tinted. I originally had a friend of mine that works for a 3M shop do it and all my door windows are scratch, small windows in the back weren't tucked in all the way and he cut the back window brake light out..

It was a cheap deal at the moment and thought it was gonna be good but I just can't take it anymore.

I know I can call him to re-tint the windows (since they have a "lifetime warranty") that are scratched but I'm already discouraged and have a feeling that it will happen again.

Advice / Recommendations?

Not sure where you can go to in Chicago, but I have read on AZ that you can install moleskin to keep the tints from being scratched.

 

everyone says tintduptls does a really good job and he is lives in des planes. also I got mine done at this carwash joint, but the dude has his own little section strictly for tints. its 140 with a lifetime warranty

HIGHLY recommended tinter he has done 3 of my own cars including the TL as well as other friends cars. He used to work at a professional shop but has since started his own business. He does the TL right including tucking tint behind the weather stripping on the rear quarter windows. If you live in the city I know its somewhat of a drive but well worth it. He only uses the best tint as well. Give him a call he has great prices.

Oh man, i just saw this! I will send you a PM for my hookup on the north side. He's done 100's of car for me through here, clublexus, vw site & maxima.org. Charges around $140 for a 5 window tint job with a lifetime warranty.
