Besides... I want a sedan for my main around town car... RDX takes the road trips and such...

@Yumcha Do you have tools? I never really thought about whether or not you do your own work.
Dude, that's not the glue...I had cleaned it completely off when I debadged...then I put that aftermarket
one that was a hair smaller than oem and it annoyed me and I removed...I cleaned and applied just a
few sections of double sided to the oem emblem and plastidipped it. If I had to guess is was the PD
overspray that got under it and then dirt that adhered to it cause it was a bitch to clean off this time.
Anyway, I understand why you decided to do it, but I still think you should have the dealer put it back on.
Bare ass! I like debadged but I am tempting fate and ordered a China made black "S4" emblem for the
back to match the rest of the blacked out theme. Oddly, I have zero desire for black wheels, or black
side mirrors...maybe I'll do exterior trim eventually (the chrome) but on the rear, since the plate is black
I love the black emblem...the front emblem I have in black but since the grill is black I prefer it to stay chrome.

Probably going to get e-kicked but yeah...I rarely do any work on my car on my own. I usually pay someone and yes, it's 99% the stealership.
Why? Um...lazy? I like to keep my hands clean?

I'm at peace with the emblem removal...I know it's probably unconventional but FWIW, I'll likely be doing that going forward for all my new cars esp. if it is not a solid piece (i.e. Ford).

Oh...another update or sharing of information:
You guys recall I had griped about that small "scuff" on the digital display (between my climate control knobs) and how one of the suggestions was to use a VERY wet magic eraser and try buffing it out with VERY gentle pressure...? Well, the service guy I spoke to said he had a customer actually try it as he had the same problem (showed me pictures) and it did not work and only added very thin circular swirls on the display. In short, it did not resolve the scuff and made things worse. So, word for those who may face something like this down the road: Magic eraser does not work.
The suggestion was to try buying something called "Displex" but again, no evidence that it may work:
I'm going to leave the scuff.

Yeah, but the roads are never truly "clean" up here with debris, pebbles more often than not on the freeways...so, I decided to buy the flaps when I started to notice some minor wear and tear on the side-skirt when the pebbles and etc. hit it due to the wheel spin picking it up. So, at least with a mud-flap, it protects the white plastic.

I'm going to leave the scuff.
Try Plexus. It works magic on clear plastic gauges.
