Given that they are putting a V6 TT SH-AWD on the track, I would bet quite a bit they won't skip the SH-AWD 6MT.

As far as new cars, possibly a toss up between a BRZ or IS350 F-Sport now that I could possibly get a good lease deal on the IS through work for under $500/month.

Is mum the word on the upcoming GS-F? I haven't read much about it, but it would be a nice step up from what I currently drive.

I drove the GS and it just didn't have enough oomph compared to what I'm used to, very nice though and not much larger than my G.

BRZ with forced induction, really nice suspension, wheels etc. Wouldn't be a DD.

The GS-F is coming, possibly revealed some time later in the year since the RC-F news is still fresh. Not a lot of details beyond a V8 w/ 500 or so power. I'd expect similar options to what they have now, just with carbon fiber thrown into the interior.

I'm a sucker for overpowered SUVs, so one of these next:

L494 Range Rover Sport
BMW X5 4.4
Audi SQ5

My brotatoe has one. Rocket_man is correct on the software updates, however, post-update, it's a jewel.

I'm very seriously looking at the new Genesis sedan due out this summer. Of course if I intend to be financially smart I'm also considering the Accord Sport 6MT which is a fantastic car. Just wish I could get it with the V6 and nav.

I'd wager closer to $75K, hopefully $80K max.

All german cars huh, no bias there .
But the german does make great handling cars. when i went to buy my car, i initially wanted a infinity g35, test drove it, i didn't like the way it handle and feel, it has alot of power though. then i went to another dealer to test drove the TL. i like it , but i was like, might as well test drive all the other cars they let me. and i choose the audi a4, even though i know that maintenance is going to be a beeoacth to my wallet.

I actually really like the Focus ST, I just have days where I'm really frustrated with the one I got. Which is too bad because it's so fun to drive with the FSWerks tune.

I was heading toward an off-ramp yesterday and following a guy that decided that straddling both lanes of the off-ramp at 15mph below the flow of traffic was appropriate. I hate following people like that because they could move into one lane and then drift back over again and force me onto the shoulder as I try to go by them.

So I dropped from 5th to 4th and gave it the beans and it went from 40mph to 70mph in no time at all. I was around the guy in a flash. It's exactly the kind of power I had been missing in the Jetta.

Kind of crazy to break the front wheels loose at 40-45mph in 4th gear but it might have been the snow tires and salt on the road too

Anyway, I don't mean to shit up threads with my disappointment in this car. I just feel like I've been unlucky with some of my cars recently.

Well, I live in Germany and get a nice discount because I work for Uncle Sam. And no sales tax

If I'm going to by sauerkraut, I may as well buy fresh.

A4/328 and if things go well over the next few months maybe S4/335i, all depends on what rates they have going when I'm in the market.

or maybe a focus ST, but I think it will ride to rough for me.

Stuff that's been on my mind,...
Vette (C6/C7)
Cadillac SRX
Some Cadillac V model
Porsche Macan (quite liked this when I checked it out at the NAIAS)
911 or Cayman
BMW M235i (although the interior was a bit disappointing when I checked it out at NAIAS)
BMW 3 series/M3
Audi S3 perhaps

I'll probably keep my 530xi T till the wheels fall off of it. I think I want an

The only thing holding be back from the Accord Sport is lack of Navigation and push button start. So that puts the Mazda6 ahead of it. The way that Honda packages its cars baffles me. Why no navi in the ILX 2.4? They finally put auto climate control in the Civic, but not dual zone when all of the competitors have it.

F'n word man! The way Honda packages the Accord is baffling to me. Why can't I build the Accord I want Honda? Is it so much to ask wanting the Sport package with the V6, nav, and a 6MT????

Navigation can be a deal breaker I guess.

But keyless start? Really?

I thought living in Europe would be OK without it, but once I started using it (especially in the UK and Belgium), I can't have a car without it.

I do have a cheap Garmin unit if I bought upscale and refused to spend $2-4K to upgrade to it. I think that price is rediculous.

I'd get a Raptor or a GS F-Sport depending on how much driving I'd have to do.

My fiancée really wants a CLA. Next new car is probably going to be hers.

Realistically, I'd be pretty content with an Accord Sport.

And you know what? So would I. It's amazing the number of people in this thread who have mentioned this car. To be completely honest, if it had XM, I'd likely have bought one already instead of waiting for the new Acura sedans. Seriously. And believe me, I love me some torque, look at what I drive now. The Accord Sport, in 6MT form, is simply a gift to those of us who remember what Hondas used to be--good-looking, sporty-handling, practical cars with great fuel economy, for cheap. And the Accord Sport is cheeeeeeeep.

Sorry for the tome, but I admit to being a Honda fogey, having driven them for almost 25 years at this point.

Honda really needs to allow you to check off what ever boxes you want on what ever model. Them offering some options on lesser models and not on others is dumb.

Very few manufacturers allow us to do that in the states.

What would be nice is if we could order a car the way we wanted w/o having to pay a separate fee to do so (if they even allow that at all).

I understand why they don't though. Some moron would order a Fuscia Honda Pilot with roll-up windows and then change their mind before taking delivery and Honda would be stuck with a car they can't sell.

But given that Honda makes cars in the U.S., I don't understand why we can't get some more flexibility. Same for other cars built in North America. They do it in Europe and the sky hasn't fallen.

My ideal Accord Sport would have (in addition to how it comes equipped)

-more than four speakers
-moonroof
-indicator mirrors
-XM
-lighting package (maybe)

For shits 'n giggles, I tried building a QX50 yesterday. When I added roof rails (for $315) it kicked the price up $3050.00 because it required the addition of the "Premium Package." Fuck you Infiniti, I would never buy a car from you under those circumstances.

Cross bars are typically considered as an accessory and can usually be ordered separately.

I couldn't find any for the QX50 in the catalog but I did see some for the QX60 cheaper than from the factory too, obviously.

I saw a black Accord Sport with the LED headlights last week.

Apparently they were $200/each but later Honda jacked up the price to $700

Yep, people realized pretty quickly that the Touring head/tail lights were a plug-n-play upgrade, IIRC.
People started buying them up, so Honda pushed the pricing up.

As for me. I've been eyeing the new Mazda3. Waiting to hear a release date for the 3 hatchback with the 2.5 & a 6MT. Touring or GT would work for me.

I'm planning to keep the BRZ as a toy after I pay it off.

Will probably pick up a slightly used sporty wagon like WRX as a daily driver. Can't stand driving an automatic whatsoever.
