You might be avoiding door dings, but you're an easy target for anyone cutting corners

The Ferrari owner parked next to the responsible one

Have you thought about a custom NY Tag?

The problem with that spot is if someone cut the corner too close and clipped your car, then you would wish for a door ding. I scope out good parking spots and ends where other cars travel aern't good.

lol. ever since i moved to miami / south beach, these exotics dont have as big of an impact on me. believe it or not, the 458s are the most common ferraris out here, followed by the california. i saw 5 within a 45 minute lunch yesterday. my appreciation is dwindling, esp. after seeing the young drivers. miami is the playground for uber-wealthy latin american kids - mostly a product of the polarized economies, such as puerto rico. youre either a factory owner, or a factory worker. the younger generations of these families flock to miami - and MANY of them are rocking 100k+ cars, including ferraris. oh, and they dont work, just party and boat all day...pisses the hell out of me.

That would annoy me as well so I will make sure to stay out of Miami then.

You should hang out in Scottsdale for a few days. This past Saturday I passed by what looked to be a 16 year old kid driving his daddy's Ferrari 599 GTB.

Yeah, some people have it easy. Not that NYC doesn't have it's share of that either

my 4 months here have been much more eye opening than the 4 years in NYC. it just doesnt compare. nyc, you may be "given" a nice $5,000/mo rental with no car at all, and some type of job...but in miami, its a penthouse apartment, 40' boat, exotic car, weekly bottle service (which could be more than the car), and a job is probably out of question. all in all, this lifestyle is defintely "in your face" down here...and is much more common.

NYC:Miami = lawyer/doctor/wall st family money VS wealthiest families in latin countries. big difference.

okay, ill stop making generalizations. haha. its just so shocking it begs to be discussed and pondered.

I like the owner of the Ferrari more than you. At least he parked between the lines.

If you really want to see an embarrassment of riches, drive up to Ft. Lauderdale, to E. Las Olas. Then as you drive through there, look at the roads along the intercostal. Yeah, that is money.

just checked it out on zillow. 1.5-2MM for a newer 4,000 sf waterfront house. not bad! those homes in Greenwich, Westchester or LI would be 2-3x as much....but the fact that it is so dense, one after the other...wow.
