My lease is up in Jan '05, and at first i was thinking i would just buy my Cl-s, but with the transmission problems i just don't think i could risk the chance, plus i want a manual. Now i am torn between these 3 cars..

'03 CL-s (6 speed)
'05 TSX
'96 Supra Turbo ( hard to find)

The catch is I want my payments to be at around $400 or below, leasing IS an option. I would love to have the '03 CLS because i can get it for around $22k with low miles and transfer over my springs and wheels. I like the TSX because its 4 door and the interior is amazing, but a little on the slow side. And do i need to say anything about the supra?

Any suggestions, or other cars to possibly get?

 

From my sig, you should already know my answer , but I can understand wanting to get a something other than a CL. I still think the 6 speed CLS is hard to beat, and at good prices now too. Only other car I'd consider is a bmw330 coupe but costs more and is not as reliable. good luck.

 

If you want power, either the CL-S or the Supra Turbo...
If it doesn't matter too much, the TSX is and the TSX 6spd shifts like butta

I don't think ill ever own a BMW, i have a friend who works there in customer service. She feels bad for the people who buy BMW's because she said from what she has seen over the last year, they are unreliable and if you have a problem with your car it taks weeks just to even get it in the service area.

 

get a 95 300zx TT 5 spd... easier and cheaper than the supra and more power than the others....

Does your white CL have the tan too? I had a white/tan 6speed and sold it for my anthracite/black Navi.

 

O, didn't realize it was a tan interior, i want black....i don't think he would want my trade-in, kind of a downgrade.

those do look badass, but they have body modifications, im not really into doing that stuff.

Though, i just looked at autotrader for them, and they do seem to be cheaper, but there is like 2 turbo's within 200 miles of me, with high miles!

 

they are a lot cheaper than the supras, i got mine for 8.5 with 126K and new turbos 30K ago in good shape

pics are in that thread, it needs a little tlc, but overall is in good shape for the age

 

if you can SUPRA TURBO all the way if your going to settle for a N/A MKIV supra might as well get a TT 300zx. :twocents:

 

if i had the coise to buy my z or spend 6 k more and get a supra tt, id pick my car all day there are very few un altered tt supra's....
