there are guys running 285's In all honesty, I haven't had a problem w/ the 245's I have on my stock tires. You have to be careful on a launch....but i'm not a drag racer so it really doesn't affect me w/ my current power.

GTO have exclusivity attached to them too. Mustangs are a dime a dozen. And most can't tell the difference between mustang trim levels. I would stick with the GTO...even though I am sure you already decided that.

Your GTO is sweet!
Does it sound like the one in the video?
I looked at the GTO when I was looking at my Cobra (The Pontiac dealer is right next to the Ford dealer)....I just couldn't pass up $33.5K out the door for a Terminator vert brand new!

Maybe where you're at. GTOs are all over the place in the Chicago area. GT500s and Terminators are a very rare site. I know mostly everyone in my area with a Terminator in my area...and thats only a few people!

what's all over the place? I live in the car mecca of the states and I honestly see one a week.

I don't see more terminators or GT500's. I see about the same amount as I do GTO's.

So I'm just thinking about other options but have talked myself out of it. I just finally need to spend some money on the suspension of this car.

have you talked to Rmpage? I thought he recently reworked his suspension after putting the twin-turbo kit into this GTO...

Other than suspension are you still having a lot of trouble or do you not like what they offer in the states. I have two other friends with GTO's which have been modified but both have been neither have set up for road racing, they mostly drag up in NH, 1 is turbo'd and the other is running nitrous along with a bunch of other goodies...

3 people in my neighborhood have GTOs.
One is a really bad ass blue color...like an electric blue! The other two are black and your color.

there is one company that's come up from AU to sell GTO parts and it's a company called Pedders. Talking w/ folks down in AU....they refer to them as "junk"

Who knows what i'll do.

I'm sick in the head.
Part of the love for the car is knowing that its mint!
When I drive it...I drive the piss out of it!
I wish I did the pulley and tune sooner though!

I got busted going 30mph over on Lake Cook road....and I got pulled over atleast another 6 times. Every time I drive it...I almost get a ticket.

Pedders isn't the company everyone in the states thinks it is. Most down in AU look at it as a replacement part, not a performance part............that said....I've talked w/ Pete and Mike White extensively and I "may" give them a shot.

Frankly, I also want something adjustable. Pedders doesn't have that option.

I'm not familiar with Pete and Mike - do tell....

Everyone sets these cars up to drag race, but like you, I want to go for more of a handling setup. The car handles decent, stock, so I can imagine that they can be set up to drive circles around any solid axle mustang or other heavy coupe.
