Worst service EVER

Yeah, so 3 weeks ago, I dropped off my 07 TSX to have a electrical short fixed at Acura of Riverside (California)... (its a 137 mile drive for me)

They notified me that the fuse block was melted, and it needed to be replaced... I agreed.

So they told me they were going to order the part on monday (it was a saturday when I dropped my car off for them to look at it.) I had to drive another 137 miles to hear that American Honda had sent them a fuse block for a TL and not a TSX... I told them it was impairative that my car be fixed ASAP... They offered me a loaner as to which I agreed... I looked over the loaner the best could in the blistering sunlight...

After I get home my girlfriend found a "dirty diaper" in the backseat, and my dad had found a rotten banana in the trunk (wtf)

They obviously don't care about the inside of their vehicles.

So 2 weeks go by and car still wasn't repaired... I drove down today with the loaner car, another 137 miles that is, only to find out that these f@ckheads are charging me for a dent in the side of the car that they all KNEW was there...

I got extremely pissed off and said f@ck it and sat in my car while they went over the paperwork... During that time, the stupid lady that overlooks the cars did a "3 second look-around" to another car that was brought in (also a loaner) I remembered seeing her go straight to the Loaner car that I was driving, driverside door and look at the faulty area(as if she knew it was already there)...

I brought that up, and she preceded to get offended (i felt like calling her a stupid b!tch, but held my tongue). Then the Supervisor, Manager, (stupid B!tch), and the person who was incharge of my vehicle preceded to argue about the level of service I had received... They all blamed ME for the fact that AH had sent them the WRONG part, and the fact that I lived so far away (wtf)... I finally said F@ck it and paid their stupid bodywork estimate so I could go on with the rest of my day...

I cannot f@cking believe this crap... Should I call the Acura center or something? This is definelty wrong, and cannot be legal under any circumstances...

They will never have my service again, I will go to bakersfield next time...

What would you guys do, any suggestions?

you honestly couldn't find another Acura dealer closer?

driving 130+ miles was the first mistake.
you mentioned that you looked over the car in the blistering sunlight but didn't see the diaper in the back seat?

i agree with you though, that is horrible service. maybe contact a rep? but seriously, find a closer dealership.

You should have signed a different name on the cc slip and called to contest the charge once it appeared on your cc statement...

I can't figure out how Acura service has been so lame, they should be kissing our feet in praise instead of acting like arrogant aholes. Luckily after my 3rd dealer I have found a service writer that kicks ass, I hope he doesnt leave before I sell the car.

First off, if I could find a closer dealership, I would have gone there... The diaper was UNDER the seat when I checked the car... C'mon now, you agreeing with Acura on this one?

And it IS the closest dealership...

I dont think anyone is agreeing with the dealership, but this is ramblings, serious answers are like unicorns here. Besides, LOTS of dealerships suck. I was a big SAAB fan because of my old dealership, then I moved, the dealership sucked, no more SAABs for me. My Acura dealership has been very good so far, and if I decide I dont like it there are 2 other Acura dealerships and 4 more Honda dealerships I can try.

PS. I wouldnt have payed for a dent unless you signed something saying it wasnt there when you took it. Let them prove it, you don't have to.

wow sounds like yuou need to join our 335 club here at bimmerzine. However, there is an entrance fee into the club, which include bacon, daily pictures as to what you were doing all day( along with a journal), also you must not be a tree goat or a llama (I think this is going to be your hardest part, seeing as how you are well on your way), and last you must call astro a a bad name 100 times in separate P.M's.. then if we like you, you can join
