Women Driver
Women Driver
Got this in my email today:

This female driver ran over a mattress and decided to just keep going...what could possibly happen!!!
The ensuing jumbled mass finally whipped around enough to put a tear in the gas tank.
The subsequent lack of fuel is what finally brought this vehicle to its knees.
After hitting the mattress, it had managed to drive 30 more miles with a 60 pound tangle of stuff wrapped around the driveshaft.
This gal complained that the vehicle had a "sort of a shimmy" when she was driving at high speeds.
This is what the dealership found...

Im sure both sexes have thier moments, but men still rule the roads.

I was driving yesterday and passed a woman at the light who was just exiting off the freeway.
Under the front of her car was a giant blue plastic barrel she was just dragging around. I just started laughing my ass off, HOW do you know that is there, how do you not hear the noise.
Best part...looked to be sure...Asian.

My brother is one of them.
Not only is he a bad driver, he pays no attention to what the car is behaving like. For a long while he was driving around with a bad brake master cylinder and a multitude of other problems, but the fact that the car wasn't operating smoothly, braking properly, or the fact that the tires were wearing improperly didn't raise any red flags with him.

fucking hate that shit
love that last pic.... looks like some alien lifeform is consuming teh car!!! Now there's something the dealership doesn't see everyday
Men can be equally stupid.
Men will generally know when something is wrong with their car, and stop. Women just might turn up the stereo.
Men generally tend to do stupid stuff with their car. Women generally don't.

So, not only do we get the visors that look like Darth Vader, they wear shoulder length gloves, then stick a hand fan in the window to block the sun (and their vision).
Plus, we have the added bonus of "the hand". this is when the tard sticks their arm out the window indicating, "I'm about to do some stupid shit" like crossing 4 lanes of traffic or making a right turn from the far left lane, etc...

I find that to be the stupidest thing to do with a car.
My boyfriend doesn't seem to give a shit about his car, meanwhile I know everything about mine and also take care of my parents' cars.
i have slowly tried to convert my gf/fiance and now she is starting to take care of cars, but she wants me to still do waxing, but she will help me at least.
both sides have their problems, I think it's the better end of the spectrum where there's differences. Like MOST guys know more about their cars. and MOST women drive "safer" But they cross aisles. You can have a man and a woman that cant drive nor know a damn thing about their cars.....like my in-laws.
I cannot imagine how you could drive with that mattress there, see a guy could do that too, most likely he'd be as drunk as a skunk, figure it was a body and decides to let it melt off. Woman probably thought something was wrong, but was more worried about what was going to happen than what was happening.

Conversation I had literally 3 minutes ago:
Boyfriend: "So I was getting my oil changed and 40 minutes into it, the service person came out and said I also needed a tire rotation. So that added another 20 minutes."
Me: "Well you should get them rotated every 10k miles. When was the last time you did it?"
Boyfriend: "When did I get my new tires?"
Me: "Sometime last year. Maybe in the fall? Have you driven 10k miles since then?"
Boyfriend: "Yeah, it was probably 15k miles ago."
Me: "Then yeah, you needed to do it."
Boyfriend: "Whatever, I don't care."

First woman to head DOT steps down
The Business Review (Albany)
Astrid Glynn, who heads the state Department of Transportation, is resigning.
Gov. David Paterson said he accepted Glynn’s resignation on Monday. She is the first woman to serve as commissioner of the state’s transportation department.
No reason was given for the move. A call to Glynn’s office was not returned.
In a statement, Paterson said Glynn has played an “important role” in securing stimulus money for transportation projects.
The resignation is effective May 8. At that point, Stanley Gee, the department’s No. 2 official, will serve as acting commissioner while Paterson starts the process of finding a full-time replacement for Glynn.
Former Gov. Eliot Spitzer appointed Glynn to head the state transportation department in February 2007. She had spent much of her career within Massachusetts state government.
Glynn earned her law degree from Albany Law School.
Gee, who will assume Glynn’s duties, came to the state in April 2007. Before that, he worked for 36 years within the Federal Highway Administration, an agency within the U.S. Department of Transportation.
Gee, like Glynn, has a local connection: He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy.

I'm dating myself here but back in 1989 my girlfriend (now my wife) and I came across an new 89 Isuzu Impulse Turbo* that nailed a mattress on the Pulaski Skyway. It was a beautiful car but with a mattress totally wrapped around the front left wheel assembly.
*linked in case some don't know what kind of car it was.
my brother, who's 19 now. is absolutely clueless when it comes to cars. he has no interest and no knowledge. now that's fine, you cant expect people to like stuff just because you do.
but he drives my car, a lot, and he sucks, a lot. makes me kind of sad. my little sister is a better/safer driver than him. so yeah, there are always exceptions
